Wow. There's no way fully to address a post that begins with the assumption Bush was a conservative (neo or otherwise).

Of course not--that would take a discussion of policy, and you're about taking shots and ridicule.

Here's the problem. Conservatives spent eight years embracing him. Why do you think they have so much trouble understanding conservative politics?

Bush served his conservative masters well: http://www.collarchat.com/m_3222304/mpage_6/key_/tm.htm#3224587

Thank you, Tazzy.

But the clown face? To me, that's political caricature, completely acceptable. These people are public figures; I am no Muslim afraid of a simple cartoon. Our tradition, and our newspapers, are full of such. And, come on, the guy probably can hear well.

Muse doesn't have the slightest clue what a Conservative even is, but do you think that will stop him from lecturing?

I quit taking drugs a couple decades ago, and can't get that far down the rabbithole without them.
Thanks, though.

[sarc/on] That healthcare bill all the conservatives want to repeal, and 21 states are suing as unconstitutional. Well, sure, pretty much a continuation of conservative R policies there. [sarc/off]

We can all agree Spillgate is testing him. So far, he's failing.
I think Sestaks gonna test him too.

Then your father in law has more executive experience than Obama, as has the crew chief at any McDonalds.

Why is that important? Its important because it means he's been tested, and you want someone who has had their leadership skills tested in this position.

Well, how the hell would anyone know what a conservative is?  There has never been one.

I was obviously not referring to the office.

Can you show me where you objected to any of the truly vile things said about Bush? The things that ata=tacked his character, his very humanity? You object to poking gentle fun at his ears- the ears of a man widely considered attractive, at that, not the ears of a man with a grotesque deformity he is ashamed of and takes pains to hide.

They do call him thinskinned, though.

Again, i do request that we remember the respect to the office if not the man, please.

Myself, I find it sort of funny, but I would like to ask what these "vile" things said about Bush were.

I know this must come from one of the conservative talking heads because I see it parroted here continually but no one explains what exactly that means, or if they do it is no different from the things said about Obama or that were directed against Clinton.

The victim mentality conservatives are preaching is truly getting old.

He lectures us erroneously about the Arizona law, without having read the damn thing. As does his appointed Justice head, Holder!

Some scholar.

Speaking of... when is he ever going to release his school records, if ever.

My father... not in law. And ever seen a crew manager at McD's? I personally want someone in there that understands the constitution and is known for his ability to listen to both sides and work towards accomplishing goals. Obama has that.

Obama is possibly the most partisan politician in DC today.

The funny/ironic thing is that McCain truly was known for reaching across the aisle, and it contributed to his defeat. There are signs he may have learned.

You fit the same shoes, exactly.

Several people responded to point out your complete misunderstanding about what is Libertarianism, Liberalism, Conservativism, and later even Marxist, Communist and Socialist. You couldn't address the policy points either--just dismissals as trolls, for pages and pages and pages, without addressing a single point.

Thats not the point. I have no problem with cricizing the policies and actions of an administration. But cheap pot shots only bring down the office, and the man. I would think many of the posters who do that here are above such things. You noticed i did not condemn your comments on Obama's handling of the oil spill.

There is so much we can cricitize without demeaning ourselves at making pot shots at our hightest Political Leader over attributes they are born with or stupid pictures we can find on the net.

How did all that "executive experience" work out for her?

"People are being really, really mean to me.  I quit."

If she could not stand up to those what makes you think she had the leadership qualities to withstand the attacks on her from inside and outside the country if McCain had been elected and through some misfortune she became President?

Fair enough.
And I, and imo American tradition, have no problem with political cartoons. Drawn, verbal, or photographic.

Obama able to listen to both sides???

Remember the white cop / black professor fiasco? Obama's position was that the white guy was automatically in the wrong, that was Obama's knee-jerk reaction.

Maybe she couldn't have. We will never know, probably.

There was also nothing to suggest Obama could.
