Thank you, Tea Party. - 5/28/2010 7:40:40 AM

The GOP was hoping to run as the party of outsiders.  But the Tea Partiers have stolen that from them, and rightly.  It wasn't too long ago that the GOP was actively screwing this country up - now they're pretending that things were great until Obama took office, and then everything went downhill.

So the GOP is being labeled as part of the current mess in primaries by the Tea Partiers, who for anything you think about them genuinely ARE outsiders.

It's becoming obvious that incumbency is now a big liability.  I'm hoping that whomever gets elected will have no party loyalty whatsoever and will simply work for whatever is in their opinion best for the American people.

While I do not agree with the Tea Partiers on everything, I do believe in fiscal sanity.  And I do believe that Washington has become deaf, and that the Tea party is an excellent means of ensuring that Washington gets forced to listen.  And they're breaking down party affiliation within the GOP as well.

And you also think Obama is handling things just fine. Interesting. Very interesting.

*sigh*. What I meant in that comment from another thread was that I don't think that his lack of experience in an issue, that he is not overmatched. I did NOT intend to say that I agree with all his stands, and I stated it as such.

Ya know, I hate assumptions.  I read no where in the OP that Obama was handling everything just fine, fiscally.  I did read that he said the GOP was pretending that things were great until Obama took office, and then everything went downhill.

So do you think Obama was handling everything just fine, fiscally = the GOP was pretending that things were great until Obama took office, and then everything went downhill?

This is what I mean by reading comprehension

Are you now denying that he is handling things just fine, or are you saying he has exemplified fiscal sanity?

Just to be clear, (to use an Obamaoesque phrase) I think that drone attacks are the only thing I would characterize as having been handled "just fine"; and his past, present, and projected spending are utterly insane.

As DS made clear in post #3, I was referring to another thread in which he made the statement Obamao was "handling things just fine"
I guess you assumed I had no basis for my comment. Sigh.

A neocon is mostly a neolib- but more uptight about sex.

Both neos love endless wars and bow to the federal reserve= which funds both sides of all wars.

No, I was making no assumptions.  I answered on this thread based on what I read on this thread.  I still didn't see, nor have I ever saw where DS was ever in full agreement fiscally or any other way with this administration.  I see him as agreeing with some things and not agreeing with others.

This is exactly what DS said in THIS OP...While I do not agree with the Tea Partiers on everything, I do believe in fiscal sanity.  And I do believe that Washington has become deaf, and that the Tea party is an excellent means of ensuring that Washington gets forced to listen.  And they're breaking down party affiliation within the GOP as well. And this is a far cry from saying he agrees with the fiscal sanity of this administration.  Wouldn't you say?

That's not even close to what he said.

He clarifies, and you repeat the misunderstanding. Interesting.

As I said (and I will be clearer so you understand lol) you must have a reading comprehension deficit.  So I guess I will have to overlook you.

That's one take on it.

My take on it is that the most fiscally conservative candidate has the wind in his sails. Ds and RINOs are in trouble
As is the Obamao agenda.

Wait. Except for Massachusetts. Incumbency was the problem there fer sure.

I'm sorry the concept of separate threads for separate topics challenges you.

In any event, the rest of us get it, hence the criticism of your harping on the OP erroneously.

See, this is just as I pointed out earlier.

When discussions turn to an issue, you can't address it, but have only jibes.

It's why we don't take you seriously. You've nothing to say.
