LOL!  I am 5'9" and I hate it when guys lie about their height.  Do they think we won't notice??

But are tall guys really better in bed?

not always I say- not always!  SToMP

I am 5'9 as well, and don't get why guys lie about their height, either, if they are planning to meet people in real time.  Obviously, the other person is going to notice.

As to whether tall guys are really better in bed--I don't think height makes much of a difference.  I have had outstanding lovers, tall, average, and short.  And less than impressive lovers, tall, average, and short.

Personally, I am much more interested in whether the guy would be a good sub.  Honesty is a trait I value highly, and a prospective sub gets off on the wrong foot when he has obviously lied about his height.  I have had some tell me they were 6'0 and 6'1 who ended up being shorter than me when I was in flats.

Perfectly fine, well dressed gentleman met me, as planned, wearing glow in the dark saddle shoes. Well, I think they were glow in the dark, they were that funny translucent greenish color. I didn't stick around long enough to see them in the dark.

Where the hell do you find saddle shoes these days ?

Piano bar dinner date.
Russian with cash to toss
Pointing out the hundreds he was spending.
...turning my head away when he tried to kiss me goodnight.

Then there's the one I met at a sports bar by my home for an afternoon drink and snacks.  I clearly tell ALL prospective subs that I meet (unless it's in a public dungeon) that there is NO play after the first meeting.  This one was apparently practicing selective listening skills.

We were talking about general subjects for a while and it seemed to be going well, though he did make it a point of telling me what a "catch" he was and how many women were after him.  Like I was so lucky to be in his presence, LOL.  All of a sudden he got this glazed-over look in his eyes and started saying "Yes, Mistress" to everything I said.  It's like he went into a hypnotic trance or something.  Very creepy.  I decided to cut the meet short and got out of there.

Later that afternoon, there was an angry e-mail from him wanting to know why I had not invited him to follow me home, when he had made it so obvious that he wanted to serve me.  I reminded him of what I had said earlier about not playing at the first meet, and he didn't have much to say in response to that.  He then confided that he had actually misled me.  He said he wasn't really a sub, but a dom who wanted to experience the other side, and told me I really deserved better than that.  But if I was ever open to playing casually sometime, he'd be up for that.  Ummm, don't think so.

I once had a guy take me on a date to 4 states.

It was a long, but fun day.  I blew him off.

later I changed my mind- by that time I was too late.     rats

I think it's because I've spent my entire career working with men - only about 15% of electronics/electrical technicians/engineers are female.  My mom says I tend to have the same body language as men (probably an adaptation to fit in).  I have to concentrate to unlock my back and shoulders when I walk.  I tend to write terse messages because I find it a lot harder to write compared to how fast I can read.

(And I've never had a great fondness for shoes, either! (books are a whole different matter.))

Thorn- why did I think you were a male?

Your posts seem more male.   Anyone tell you that?

omfg Holly you are a giant!!!!!  I thought you were 5 10 or so but you are taller!

More bad date stories.....

I was young, alcohol was involved, I was flirting madly with a young man all night, got up to go to the bathroom, locked the door and couldn't get out.  Our friends had to take the door off it's hinges and when I came out (an hour later) everyone cheered.  Well I did get the guy but he never let me live down getting locked in the toilet

The guy who flew interstate to stay with me who liked show tunes, having things inserted into his ass and preferred to cuddle rather than have sex. He also very obviously checked out ever cute guy we walked past but insisted he wasn't bi or gay and appeared genuinely confused as to why many people had asked him the same question over the years.

sleeping on sheets that I swear had not been washed in months   I could smell them for weeks afterwards and showered three times a day for ages as I felt so dirty
