I had a Dom once tell me that he thigns that I'm not "just a sub" that I'm really, and truly a slave, wanting my every movement controlled. Now, I'm a very independant person, and I like to be IN CHARGE on occasion (usually I express this in my work). He began, over time, asking me to do more and more rediculous things - I wasn't allowed to drive over a certain speed (which was under the speedlimit), if he called and I didn't answer, regardless of the reason, I punished, I wasn't living with him at the time, I was serving he and his wife on a WEEKEND ONLY basis, yet he made all these rules for my life. It didn't take very long for me to say "get lost."
Coincidentally, he didn't try to tell me "you're not really a sub." He just attempts to slander my name to everyone he can get to in the community in our area. Fortunately, I also have friends in the community and my integrity, reputation and personality can stand up for themselves. I've only ever had "Just so you know 'X' is talking trash about you again, but I set him straight" or something along those lines.
