I lived in a D area and now an R area.   GOPs are the first players IN the line for subsidies.   I seen it with my own eyes.

She's a devout Catholic and obviously a fervent believer, you should love her for that, no? Nowhere do I see how it means that she pursues public policy based on that fact alone. As a matter of fact, her support of women's freedom of choice demonstrates that she is quite ready to go against her own faith in order to do what's right. The rest of your extrapolations are little else than your own fantasies: you just wanted an excuse to bash someone you don't like.

At least, be honest about that, and stop pretending you're driven by a desperate need for intellectual honesty .

It is very, very clear what Jesus is reputed to have taught - the sermon on the mount is a wonderful summary all in all. There can be no interpretation of what is thereby conveyed for the thing stands for itself.

The measure therefore must be as to whether a politican espousing these teachings and accounting to her allegiance to them acts in accordance with them or contrary to them.

I suggest that regardless of any other person and their actions, the socio-economic policies and aims of the right are directly contrary in their intent and effects to what Jesus taught.

Status: offline 		Ah - would that be "socialism" by any chance? Or would it be "liberal"? I get so confused at these terms and few it seems are able to explain them except by reference to evil.

I find it absolutely incredible that I, a heathen, should be called on to explain the foreign cult to those who for some reason feel they follow its teachings when they clearly have no idea whatever of those teachings or what they mean.

The Sermon deals with this subject quite aptly - perhaps a revision might be in order.

A hint for the hard of saving - its about selflessness, self sacrifice for the greater good - like Jesus did at the end according to the foreign cult. This is directly contrary to modern GOP ideology  -the Sermon can offer advice there too.
