If you could take no for an answer, it's doubtful you'd be here smearing her name in post after post after post. Her "no" was in not confirming and following through with meeting you. Your lashing out this way is painting you in a bad light because it's making it seem that you can't let go of your anger, and when angry, you try to hurt the person who angered you. Which is, ultimately, far more wary-making than not following through on a "Let's meet on this day". It comes across as childish.

I am here only to defend my point of view.  I am not attacking her at all when I make those replies to other parties on this forum.  Also, I want others to be warned about her and not to fall for her mind games.  As you can see from my posts I do try to divert my attention away from this incident but it seems that a few persons here want to constantly bring it up which reinforces my desire to explain myself and what had happened to me.  In other words, you drop the subject then I will.  I tried doing that but I keep getting these responses.

I feel rather responsible for this because when I posted this thread I knew there was a risk of battles. Hopefully the more enlightening replies have made this thread worthwhile.

TakesIt4You, your first post should have stayed in email, and that is why you are getting flak now.

Penelope,

No need to feel any responsiblity.  Might as well blame CM for providing a platform for communications.

As for me, I apologize for more than the first post, and shall withdraw from reacting to TakesItForU.  I think he has already well-established my original point.  He is, however, welcome to make his own decision about how he will continue.

Unfortunately, the only way to EVER prevent someone from disappearing on us is to never take the risk of being involved to begin with. Somehow, I dont think life was meant to be that way. <smiles>

Respectfully,

The only way to avoid all disappointment is to become a hermit.

Which .. can be a very disappointing kind of life all by itself.

Risk is what this life is all about, isn't it?

btw, enthralled, I'm not particularly enthralled with country music, either.
