Conspiracy means there was an orchestrated attempt to cover up what really happened. If they offed her and then made it look like suicide, that makes it a conspiracy. If you can't prove it with concrete evidence that makes it a theory. So you DO have a conspiracy theory.

Lets be clear; I said UFO, I said nothing about aliens, space travel or manipulating time. If there is something (an Object)  in the air (Flying) and it does not fit the description of any presently known aircraft (Unidentified), that makes it an (Unidentified Flying Object). Whether its a gov't project, a new kind of weapon or the airlines testing an advanced airplane, its still unidentified to the public.  If people see it and the official govn't response is "no you didn't see it" then they are hiding its existence.

BTW- People put way too much voodoo around the term "conspiracy theory" all it means is that you believe the govn't intentionally lies to the public about certain things. If you think the govn't never lies to us about "what really happened"........well.......I'll be nice and say you must be a damn good citizen

I believe that pharmacutical companies have no interest in curing anything or eliminating any disease.

I believe there is something in the genetic engineering of our food that is a big contributing factor to the obesity crisis in America.

I believe the Vatican has kept secret documents or other instruments that would prove that Jesus was a mortal human being.

I believe there is an effort to colonize other planets because someone, somewhere is convinced that the earth will become inhabitable sooner rather than later.

I think when the Vatican was deciding what official church doctrine was back in the day, they were more concerned with their egos and position than finding the truth. I think that most Popes have been aware of this.

I think the US is capable of going to war solely to advance national interest and not for any sort of abstract moral calling.

I think many politicians use their position and power to advance their personal interests, or the interests of companies they own stock in.

I think most news reporting is intentionally designed to be distracting fluff.

I think there are a lot of horrible things that I don't know, that I probably don't want to know, that are done in secret because they are necessary.

There is a belief that some addictive substances are put in fast-food products, like Burger Kings'. I remember reading articles about the addictive side of fatty foods, but it wouldn't surprise me to learn genetic engineery is used for food addiction.

Yes, I believe television programs are implanting subliminal messages in my mind, and the scary part is that one of those subliminal messages is that I must watch TV.

Status: offline 		I believe that Oswald was a lone gunman and the CIA (or somebody, perhaps even everybody) deliberately made a point of muddying the waters until it looked like he wasn't because they didn't want the idea that any passing nutcase with a rifle can bag a President getting taken seriously.

Status: offline 		The CIA took part in assassinations, I dont think thats a "conspiracy theory". If it were then every top secret operation would qualify. Oswald...the only successful shooter, but Giancana almost certainly had a hand in JFK. Again that doesnt reach "CT level" for me...I dont think there is any coverup, just not enough evidence to pursue it.

The rest? Believing them is equivalent to thinking Harry Potter is real.

Status: offline 		As I said: a deliberate attempt has been made to drop the signal and raise the noise about the shooting. Most of the conspiracy notions about the assassination are daffier than a cartoon duck, but the amount of crap that went on afterwards lends most of them a degree of credence, however absurd they are.

(Though I do find the notion that somebody in military intelligence wanted Kennedy dead because they were worried that the stupid bastard was going to start a nuclear war more believable than most. After the Cuban Missile Crisis and the U2 incident, that seems a lot more credible than most of the other crap that's spouted.)

First, learn to take a joke. you didnt used to be this uptight.

second, my theories in no way affect my life. I dont avoid water because someone wrote a theory and a kid expanded upon it. i dont stress over my phone being tapped, and i dont wonder about aliens.

Just because something is a conspiracy theory doesnt mean it has to overtake your thought processes as it does with some on these boards. and a conspiracy doesnt have to be harmful to the population at large.

You are not crazy at all. We have little reason to believe anything that govt. or business has to tell us...even either way. Though the lunar walk(s) did in fact happen...more than once.

Governments all over the world have tried very hard to hide the existence of alien UFO's and...has failed miserably.

BUT, the conspiracy I do not believe even for a minute, is the US Govt. theory on 9/11 which is about the most important unproven conspiracy theory...of modern history.
