ORIGINAL: popeye1250 Well, like any good detective, I "always follow the money." RFK and two guys show up in Calif and Marylyn Monroe is dead two days later. No conspiracy there, she got wacked for threatening to expose her affair with JFK. UFO's are bullshit. If they were that sophisticated that they could manipulate "time" for space travel then they could surely make themselves invisable when they got here to earth! Ever have that feeling that "someone" was "with" you when you were all alone? Conspiracy means there was an orchestrated attempt to cover up what really happened. If they offed her and then made it look like suicide, that makes it a conspiracy. If you can't prove it with concrete evidence that makes it a theory. So you DO have a conspiracy theory. Lets be clear; I said UFO, I said nothing about aliens, space travel or manipulating time. If there is something (an Object) in the air (Flying) and it does not fit the description of any presently known aircraft (Unidentified), that makes it an (Unidentified Flying Object). Whether its a gov't project, a new kind of weapon or the airlines testing an advanced airplane, its still unidentified to the public. If people see it and the official govn't response is "no you didn't see it" then they are hiding its existence. BTW- People put way too much voodoo around the term "conspiracy theory" all it means is that you believe the govn't intentionally lies to the public about certain things. If you think the govn't never lies to us about "what really happened"........well.......I'll be nice and say you must be a damn good citizen I like this OP and the subject matter but this is not entirely true. A conspiracy to commit as crime...is a crime. A conspiracy that includes a crime IS the crime and any attempted cover-up is an additional crime...obstruction of justice. All it takes for a conspiracy is a conversation between two or more people...to do something. Which of course doesnt have a thing to do with the topic at hand. Criminal conspiracies have no relation to "conspiracy theories".
