I agree with that Unique and I can tell you, that's NOT something I do personally, I am more likely to be the other way around in real life. I'm not sure who "many" is, but I can tell you that I have run across quite a few people that no, do not want to have anything to do with someone they percieve to be more intelligent than them. Insecurity? I guess, I never really stopped to care that much. For me this whole process of finding a partner is much like trying to find the 3 red jelly beans in the bag of 200, black, toss it, pink, toss it (they taste like soap), green and blue I like it, but it ain't red and so on. I have alot of green and blue jelly beans that are friends, I have a long block list for the black ones.
