I don't know what planet Beldar and his family were from, IIRC they always said they were from France. Why did they pick that country ? Maybe because of the wierd foods they eat. The Coneheads was originally a sketch on Saturday Night Live which originated on the January 15, 1977 episode, and starred Dan Aykroyd as father Beldar, Jane Curtin as mother Prymaat, and Laraine Newman as daughter Connie.
The Coneheads were an alien family, natives of the planet Remulak, who found themselves stranded on Earth. When questioned by Earth neighbors as to their strange behavior, they inevitably replied that they were "from Remulak, a small town in France".

Frank Zappa wrote a song based on the sketches, titled "Conehead". It appeared on his 1981 album You Are What You Is. Zappa also appeared in a Coneheads sketch when hosting, as a man dating Connie and makes note that he prefers Frenchwomen.[1]

I very much like to study calendars. How 'bout that Mayan nonsense in 2012? After all, I was one of the early programmers who said "This program won''t be around for the 2000 roll-over. Let somebody else fix it before then. There's no space to keep four-digit years anyway." Think I could get a job "fixing" it? Nope. I was in a Clinical Depressive state and didn't have the meds I do now.
Do you have good psychtropic meds or have you always been like that?
