All you have to do is ask yourself one question. "If I were an elected representative, and I got a letter from this guy, would I take it seriously at all?" The correct answer, is no. Letters in crayon rarely get taken seriously.

Even personal stuff not technically their job. I once had a six month argument with a bank over mischarged interest rates. Finally, in frustration, I wrote my Senator (of the other party, even), and it was resolved the next day. The next day! They apologized and refunded ALL interest charged immediately. Policy matters are more complex, but again, always taken seriously with positions thoroughly detailed along with the reasoning for them. On the state level, several projects that never would have seen the light of day happened just by bringing them to the attention of our representatives.

Let me give you the full story: A person went to the county sheriff's office of Jones County Texas with a complaint. The deputy beating on my door said I need you to come out and talk to me about the complaint. I was handcuffed taken to jail. I am quite sure that is the correct definition of "Talk"!! All of the thing was dropped after much money and the first so many amendments of the constitutions of Texas and the United States the Bill of rights were destroyed by a Jones County Texas Law enforcement officer.The sheriff of the county said I cant file a compliant against him because "He was just doing his Job:" What if this S.O.P. deputy had shot me as one Abilene City cop did a unarmed man 3 times and a grand jury let him off. He would be "just doing his job" every 48 hours,and other shows of this elk show crooked law enforcement and the lives ravaged by them and our country ran by lawyers as most candidates are all judges are but no one wants a oversight group to law the enforcement not associated with cops or lawyers designed to catch prosecute and see to there punishment.I sent letters with documents supporting my story including the dismissal document.

WTS - your account, though comprehensible in the first few lines becomes ever more confused until at the end I cant make head nor tail of it. If youre trying to deal with (what seems to be) a serious problem here and this is the style youre using, then I'd suggest you need someone to draft your complaint more adequately, so that the recipient might understand it and be able to act appropriately on it. I agree with you. I had an issue with a state agency a few years ago and I called my Congressman's office, Dennis Kucinich. I never spoke with him but his staff went out of their way to help me resolve the problem.

Its just a hiccup...Im sure they will all be tossed out on their sorry asses in november, ....right??? Have faith, they WILL prevail maybe if they could actually agree on more intricate matters than simply "cutting spending"... and loose the loony fringe they might have mo re people back them, they are hurting themselves more than any one else right now

I had a conversation with a friend yesterday. We were talking about how we use to work cattle trading out ranch for ranch, now if you cant hire it done you do it yourself.We use to have Barn buildings,if a neighbor was struck with illness the neighbors came to gather and his work was done (cotton planted) whatever for him so he would not loose out on a crop.Or if that time of year the crop harvested. have authritous and hit the wrong buttons on these computers.Miss one letter in the word and if the damn spell check can get it right is a hit or miss. So i take a lot of ribbing from the people on these blog sites that are perfect for my misspellings,punctuation,and anything they can make me feel stupid with. This friend has a wife that is a 30 year teacher she in fact taught me. He said she was leaving the profession because of the smart mouth children,they get it from there parents I guess the perfect parents.This is the Glue that built this great nation and it is gone. Neighbors coming together to help another would be sued.Children say Fuck you more than anything and dare you to do any thing about it,hell Clint Eastwood made a movie about it.If you piss these little bastards off they come by your house with guns and shoot you up.By the way I hope you perfect people notice the two types of writing size of letters that these old hands hit the wrong button on Laugh You sorry bastards Maybe your child will die in a drive by.

You might just have explained your issues WTS, without the 'tude, though I can see that the "ribbing" youve received having not explained your issues might have you pissed off. Who knows, you might even find that others might interact more positively with you, make allowances and so on - but youre gonna have to slow down I think and get your thoughts in order before you type in any case, 'cause you often come across as so incoherent that few can make sense of your posts. Also, if you get a style pass on account of your issues - dont expect that to give you a pass too to post nonsense, with or without the 'tude, as you'll still get shot down as much on your content as your presentation. Might I suggest too that you go to your profile and put a signature in - this will appear at the bottom of your posts - to explain your issues and at least give others a chance of a heads-up? E

I've contacted quite a few Congresspeople on behalf of disabled and addicted Vets and while not every situation has been resolved quickly and satisfactorily, most were. I suspect that even the vilest most corrupt Congresscritter employs staff at their offices that are idealistic and quite willing to go to bat for their bosses constituents no matter what his attitude about them maybe.
