Status: offline 		background-Master has wife...I have husband, both spouses aware of Master and my relationship.

Is this unusual? Is it more typical that this lifestyle is only between spouses or single individuals?

Status: offline 		I know more than a few setups like what you are referring to. As long as there is full disclosure, it's fine. I suspect that there are MANY cheating situations, unfortunately.

Status: offline 		I personally do not know of any people who manage to pull this off, but i have seen other posters here talking about simular set ups and managing ok apparently...
i do not think it is very common though

also... eventhough i might not consider it very respectful when people cheat or lie to have their special bit on the side... in many situations i have some- or even a lot of understanding and generally am unwilling to judge.

Status: offline 		I wouldn't use unusual to mean wrong, but yes, it's less common than single people seeking mates. Most of us are ordinary folks, between work, household upkeep, kids, and so on, we have trouble carving out playtime for us. I can't imagine how you add someone extra into the schedule.

And if you can bottle the extra time you need, you would make a mint!

That depends upon who you believe are truly "lifestyle". I would say it's fairly unusual for two couples to divide their halves between them and form a D/s hybrid without upset, though it's always impressive all involved in the circle have the open-mindedness to do so.

Status: offline 		It's not unsual in our case, we play with quite a few couples, some as individuals some as a submissive pair and some where we were dominate either the girl or the guy together with their partner. We prefer them to be open with each other.
I find it much less complicated with a couple. As a Dominant I find great satisfaction in watching a partner's reactions.

Swingers have relationships like this but, I think this is rare for BDSM/D/s people
