Another feature I noticed is that putting someone in your hidden users list keeps you from showing up as one of their favorites. There is one jerk who listed Me as one of his favorites (not sure why, since he was so uninterested he didn't show up when W/we were supposed to meet). After I put him in My hidden users list, I no longer showed up as one of his favorites, which is just fine with Me. I tested it by taking him out of My hidden users lists, and I was again showing up as one of his favorites. Now he has been relegated to "hidden user land" for good, as well as being blocked. It is also nice to never, ever have to see his disgusting face again when I do searches.

I since learned that I have a lot of company. He has done this to several others. I don't know why people who have no intention of keeping plans make them in the first place.

I actually just had mail recently asking if I was interested in meeting...as the FIRST mail this person has ever sent me.

Some people are just inherently useless, it's the ones who are malicious on top of that who we have to be on guard for

I wish it didn't block me from their favorites. I've been hiding everyone as I view their profile, including some people I really liked (and hoped they might make the first contact someday)... now I'm guessing there's no easy way to unhide all those people... and even if I could, then I lose the nice tracking of who I've viewed...

the easy way is to go down the left side and click on hidden users and it will list all those that you have hidden away. you then click on the little x beside their name in that list and poof.. they're unhidden

Another question along the lines of not knowing how to or whats it for....

I get irritated not being able to go directly from having read lots of forum mail straight back to the home page..
Is this possible ?

I was glad of this facility for as sure as cows shit I'd be inundated with a plethora of the most gawd awfull profiles I've ever seen. When I'm in the other side there are just some things I personally don't wirh to see. I'll defend their right to be there in what ever format CM allows just I'll defend my right not to have to see them.
