Let's forget the forums, for a minute. Let's forget that this is happening on a BDSM website. Let's pretend that the situation were happening in real life. Let's say: someone walked into a bar, insulted your chicken wings in a condescending way, told you that there's a way better restaurant down the street but he can't tell you where, acted superior, looked down on you, and in general, made a complete ass of himself. Let's say, he's way out of line, and everybody knows it. He's basically asking for it. What do you do?

A. get everybody in the bar to go over to his table and start mocking him and insulting him, each taking shots at him, until finally he gets so angry and fed up that he eventually leaves
---OR---
B. ignore him because he's obviously an idiot, and go on drinking your beer in peace

C. Me call him on his shit and tell him to grow up or go away but I don't want to deal with him. Because I don't want my quiet meal interrupted by him yammering at me. And as I have as much right to that as he has to go around the room verbally harassing others, I don't believe giving back to him what he started is cruelty.

I'm not Christian, I don't have to turn the other cheek to get slapped again. To be blunt here, he started it. If he can't take it, he shouldn't dish it out. That's real life. You get what you give. If you give kindness and honesty, you'll probably get mostly that back. If you give rudeness and arrogance, you'll get rudeness back. Don't want to get it? Then don't do it. Golden Rule type stuff; don't do unto others what you don't want them to do unto you.

Well, i tried to go to the "Humor" forum for a change. Someone started to tell a joke.
"Why did the chicken cross the road?"
i interrupted, "Wait! You mean a CHICKEN had to walk all the way across the ROAD? That's SOOOOOOOO MEAN! That's just CRUEL!"
They kicked me out of the humor forum. So now i'm back here.
(hahahahahaha...)

If you have the ability to see that in yourself, then kudos; some never do.
