Syrox -> How would YOU deal with a sub laughing at your hiccups? (6/15/2010 4:33:32 AM)

I got a bad case of the hiccups last night and my sub spent the evening splitting her sides at my misfortune.  Sadly due to my being indisposed by my abdominal spasms I could do very little with a straight face, but I make a note of it for later.

My question is. How would YOU deal with this situation?

*laughs*  Probably about the same -- with a stern "I'll get you later!" look.

Before trying to recite the alphabet backwards while standing on my head and drinking water.  Or whatever wifes tail cure I hadn't tried yet.

Wow this is what you call a situation ?

Syrox -> RE: How would YOU deal with a sub laughing at your hiccups? (6/15/2010 4:50:34 AM)

lol not exactly a situation as such... more of a non-situation which might be the thin edge of a wedge..

I'd wait until I recovered my composure, then give her a play spanking for laughing.  Or just let it slide.

Whatever you do, don't make it out to be something serious, or you'll change the dynamic to something un-fun where she's afraid to enjoy herself.

personally i find hiccups in someone else amusing for a little while and then i just feel sorry for them - hard to imagine how anyone would find that so hilarious for so long and actually for it not to get a little irritating

im not a domme so far be it for me to say but i think id try to think up something that you might find amusing and she wouldnt.  or just give her the spanking she's so obviously trying to earn - [8|]

i think it is a perfectly reasonable response from a sub and no action is required.

Face it; body noises can be funny. I remember a serious session once where my Master's belly growled and he asked me if I was hungry. That got us both laughing as I was explaining that it wasn't MY belly that just growled.

I agree wholeheartedly with DarkSteven; have a play punishment for it if you wish, or tease her about it, but don't make her scared to laugh.

i was just agreeing with all the other nice people.

Yeah, what's the deal here? You've got a lady with a healthy sense of humour. Don't stifle it, or you'll stifle the relationship. Now, you could have fun with it, and do some play "punishment", but somehow I don't think that's what you're asking.

Inthewoods -> RE: How would YOU deal with a sub laughing at your hiccups? (6/15/2010 5:46:39 AM)

in His defence, i think the OP was tongue in cheek. (i'm hoping so, lol)

divi -> RE: How would YOU deal with a sub laughing at your hiccups? (6/15/2010 5:47:54 AM)

that or he is stoned

Syrox -> RE: How would YOU deal with a sub laughing at your hiccups? (6/15/2010 5:52:45 AM)

Sadly not stoned today lol

but yup.. punishment enacted, recieved etc. but still.. keep the suggestions coming...no doubt there will be 'other occasions' in which they may come in useful :P

I'd laugh it off, with maybe a hint of 'I am sooooo going to get you for this later' kind of thing.

If they are hiccups that you just can't get rid of, she's going to find it funny.  Who doesn't?

Nature just handed you a way to keep play light-hearted and fun.  Keep her laughing (maybe by tickling or such), turn her over your knee, and give her a few spanks.  During which, play it up.  "So, that was funny, huh?"  Crack.

Lather, rinse, repeat.

GreedyTop -> RE: How would YOU deal with a sub laughing at your hiccups? (6/15/2010 6:26:31 AM)

count each hiccup.  give her  spank for each one.

Andalusite -> RE: How would YOU deal with a sub laughing at your hiccups? (6/15/2010 6:41:36 AM)

Once she started giggling, I probably would have put her over my knee and swatted her just after each hiccup, at the time. I'd figure it would distract me enough to stop the hiccups, probably make her stop laughing (though I wouldn't mind if she did keep on), and it would amuse me to use it to set the rhythm. I flogged someone to "Andy Spandy" and "Johnny Kicked the Football" this past weekend, though, so we might have different playstyles.[8D] Just to clarify, it wouldn't be a punishment, just being silly right back at her.

Missokyst -> RE: How would YOU deal with a sub laughing at your hiccups? (6/15/2010 8:25:30 AM)

LOL... ok, one of the funniest things that ever happened to me was this very situation.  Only when he tossed me over the arm of a chair for a spanking, it must have triggered his esophagus because his hiccups came back.
lol Ahhh.. memories.
