Moonhead, as Govenor of Alaska, Palin imposed and collected hundreds of thoudsands of dollars, in fines from BP. She has experience dealing with them as an executive leader. I have brought that point up at least once so far.

And they would have gotten as many skimmers in as possible as fast as possible. And I would like to think (though this is speculation) that dispersants would not have been used.

The only reason in your article is that the EPA refused to allow the skimmers to be used. Which Obama could have waived. up to 146,000 barrelss of oil a day less than what is out there now...7.3 million barrels less

Obama won the election.

Elections have consequences.

Palin isn't the president.

But there is no reason to think she would have had a qualm with allowing a tiny bit of oil to go back into the water as millions of barrels were cleaned up.

Unlike Obama (not based on presumption or what ifs, but actually did), who has now decided to allow these booms to be used.
