What the Judge did was "remedy" an outcome by giving overwhelming advantage to a group, who although equal in number to the "whites" didn't exercise their freedom and right to vote resulting in an outcome the federal government said was unfair.

No, you've gotta actually read what you post. Everyone gets 6 votes, not just spanish speakers. It's a good idea as they're voting for multiple positions, not just one winner....

In fairness to Brain, the article was not well written and I had to reread it to realize that everyone got six votes.

I would have appreciated knowing how giving people who undervoted more votes would help anything. I can't see any effect...
