Hey Darwin ol boy, I would appreciate it if you would stop calling these right-leaning Americans commies...we commies resent it...oh yeah and like Domi said...go fuck yourself.

I don't believe a little wormy fuck like yourself did such research. You are a liar and another partisan hack.

I'm sorry Domi...That your inherently a coward because since the Vietnam war all American Liberal/Communists avoid military service, law enforcement and or any sort of real defensive firearms ownership. I just don't see how anybody with a sniveling cowards world view and a political philosophy, thats all about submission. Could ever really dominate anything or anybody.

My only regret dimiguy...Is that back during the Vietnam War which shaped the Liberal Cowardice of a whole Generation of young aspiring closet communists...That they didn't hand a fully loaded .45 auto to each and every returning veteran, with a licence to evacuate the brain case of the first seven cowardly scum bags like yourself who even thought about spitting on a returning hero. It wouldn't have bothered me so long as they could have shown one droplet of spit and frankly there'd be a lot less of your brand of craven cowardice in our universities today.

One day soon...The American Liberal/Communist Economic Ponzi Scheme will collapse under the weight of it's own debt and that day will not go well for you and your ilk.

I was talking with a Vietnam vet the other day. He said "You know I spent three tours in Vietnam. My job was to kill every communist I ran across...Now my son's in the military and they want him to Salute a Communist who is Commander in Chief."

Always remember domiguy, that the meek shall indeed inherit the earth. The only question is...Can they hold it till sun up?

Just wanted you to realize that due to your partisanship you are unable to grasp what actually transpired thereby making you an idiot.

He's not an idiot. He just refuses to suck the naively dangerous and nationalistically suicidal, Liberal world view that you want to hang in front of his face like a cock. As with most LibDoms domiguy...Your all talk and name calling and no real dominance.

And he spews out information as if it were factual. Based upon small bits of truth that have actually nothing to do with how the problem started was furthered and then perpetuated upon the economy.

He is an idiot.

You are a fucking dope as well. You say to blame the people that are driving their suv's to Starbucks....Are these attributes really indicative of a liberal? You mean to say that conservatives don't drink coffee or drive Suv's, you stupid cock?

Who protected the spotted owls, the rain forests the water quality of our lakes and streams? George Bush and Cheney?

Go fuck your self you partisan political hack. How many Exxon Valdez sized tankers does it take to hold the bullshit that comes out of your mouth?

You are a nothing. So because we utilize oil we should have to accept glaring negligence like in the Exxon Valdez or the BP oil spill?

Are you a fucking moron. How dense are you?

So because you completely lose an argument you have to resort to abuse domiguy? The sign of a complete and utter idiot if ever there was one. The toxic American sub-prime mortgages WAS THE CAUSE of the global recession. You can package it up however you want to, 'it was class A debt', 'it was deregulated' blah blah pass the buck. It was toxic American debt at the end of the day.

How long did it take the Americans to settle on the Exxon Valdez oil spill? It took them a lot longer to get to where BP has already. How about the Bhopal explosion in India which was America's fault?

Bit of hypocricy from the Americans when it is the Americans who are the world's biggest polluters isn't it.

rulemylife,

It was Clinton's repeal despite what you wish to claim. And to think that you're quoting wikipedia as proof of your argument is quite frankly laughable. I could go onto wikipedia, write what I want to and then claim that that's what happened. But then again Hollywood have been doing that for years so you wouldn't know any different I suppose.

tiny1 -> RE: Massive Tool Alert (6/17/2010 3:40:39 PM)

For you domiguy and rulemylife, you can have a non-American perspective which must be hard for you read as they're not incredibly biased like your media.

Even the left wing hippy liberal Guardian has Clinton down as one of the individuals to blame for this recession.

I quoted Wiki because it was a concise summation.

The material is readily available.

It is no secret that the repeal of Glass-Steagall was a Republican sponsored bill passed by a Republican Congress.

too funny

http://www.reuters.com/article/idUSTRE65F3E620100617?type=domesticNews

"U.S. authorities have charged 1,215 people in hundreds of mortgage fraud cases that resulted in estimated losses of $2.3 billion, top Obama administration officials said on Thursday, unveiling a crackdown after the housing market collapse.

Im guessing this number included some of the following

http://www.businessweek.com/ap/financialnews/D9GD83N80.htm

"Federal authorities in Connecticut have charged 15 people, including attorneys, mortgage brokers and real estate agents, with participating in mortgage fraud schemes that they say contributed to the nation's banking crisis and a wave of foreclosures. The charges announced in Connecticut Thursday came as the Justice Department announced that investigators have made nearly 500 arrests since March in a major nationwide crackdown on mortgage fraud. Authorities said it involves 1,215 criminal defendants in cases that uncovered more than $2.3 billion in losses."

Oh my and another

http://www.detnews.com/article/20100616/METRO/6160423/1361/Seven-Metro-Detroiters-accused-in-$100-million-mortgage-fraud-case

A Fenton man and six others were accused on Wednesday of buying a helicopter, expensive cars and a Canton night club from the proceeds of a mortgage fraud scheme that triggered losses of $100 million and involved roughly 180 homes in the region. Ronnie Duke, 43, is identified as the leader of the group accused of arranging approximately 320 fictitious sales and loans. In other cases, the group hired "straw buyers" to purchase homes and secure the loans, according to a criminal complaint filed on Wednesday by the U.S. Attorney's office in Detroit. From 2004 to 2007, the FBI alleges that Duke and the others would arrange for the loan and then take a portion of the loan money for themselves. Sometimes the straw buyer would get paid for their efforts and the initial monthly payments would be made. However, those payments would stop and, in 80 percent of the cases involving homes, the residence is now in foreclosure.

Im wondering just how many of them were poor people wanting to own their own home, ....just one home, their home, their dream.
But not a chance it coupd be greed and capitalism gone freaky huh

There's a difference between wanting to own ones own home and being able to afford one. It's just a shame that the stupid hippy liberals don't realise that a lot of people can't afford to own their own home.

I can't speak for America here as I don't live there, but the treasonous vermin Liebour government were hell bent on ruining perfectly good towns by creating their 'housing associations' where x% of homes had to be council tenants. The housing association where I live, smallish town of 10-15k, has brought down the price of properties by a good 10% on top of the general down turn in the housing market. Why? Because the council tenants are permanently in the news on drugs charges and prostitution charges. I live in an affluent area of the country, have worked bloody hard to get where I am right now in life and I don't expect my standard of living to be dragged down by nobodies with no intention of working an honest day's work in their life and getting their money through drugs and crime. It's bad enough that my taxes pay their rent, council tax, for them have baby after baby because the more kids they have the more money they get from the taxpayers. Those people should be put up in hostels, live a poor life so that they have an incentive to better themselves and improve their lives. But the hippy liberal way is to pamper those nobodies and to screw over the people who work hard to improve themselves.

DCWoody -> RE: Massive Tool Alert (6/17/2010 4:57:32 PM)

"stupid hippy liberals"

I've not heard a brit use that sorta phrasing before, not even the most party line towing toriest tory.....the word liberal just isn't used like that here....our 'left' party is the least liberal party. This guy is weird.

And he apparently joined the forum summer 2006, didn't join the other side til december 2008, and hasn't posted before this thread.

Of course they did. Can you imagine the public whipping they would have endured if they had declined?

Anderson Cooper berates them nightly for declining offers to appear on his show, as if they had nothing better to do.

Brain -> RE: Massive Tool Alert (6/17/2010 6:33:03 PM)

Since Mr. Heyward is not answering any questions and said he doesn't know anything, there is no point in asking any of them any questions in the future because they are, or will be, uncooperative.

I think it's better to ask employees who actually worked there, even the widows gave better information using the conversations they had with their husbands.

Perhaps you might give us your definition of the word coward which you seem so free with?

My only regret dimiguy...Is that back during the Vietnam War which shaped the Liberal Cowardice of a whole Generation of young aspiring closet communists...

You do realize that the constitution says it is legal for one to be liberal or a communist or even both.
Is there any other part of my constitution that you want to wipe your ass on?

That they didn't hand a fully loaded .45 auto to each and every returning veteran, with a licence to evacuate the brain case of the first seven cowardly scum bags like yourself who even thought about spitting on a returning hero.

What exactly makes a viet nam vet a hero?

It wouldn't have bothered me so long as they could have shown one droplet of spit and frankly there'd be a lot less of your brand of craven cowardice in our universities today.

You don't think it cowardly to shoot unarmed people

One day soon...The American Liberal/Communist Economic Ponzi Scheme will collapse under the weight of it's own debt and that day will not go well for you and your ilk.

Bush&co came to office with a budget surplus and left office with the largest debt in u.s. history...or did you miss that?

I was talking with a Vietnam vet the other day. He said "You know I spent three tours in Vietnam. My job was to kill every communist I ran across...

I was there also and that was never part of our mission. Perhaps you could find some sort of validation for your absurd statements?

Now my son's in the military and they want him to Salute a Communist who is Commander in Chief."

If he does not that would make him a jail bird but you do not believe in the constitution so you should be proud to have a jail bird for a son.

I wouldn't answer any question either until after the investigation was complete. It's all dog and pony show for an outraged public and an all too eager media. Focus on capping the well and the cleanup. There is a time and a place for the rest.

LadyEllen -> RE: Massive Tool Alert (6/18/2010 3:03:37 AM)

I'm really not sure what the man from BP was supposed to say to some of those questions.

Had it been a session for the committee to be updated on what was being done to resolve the problem, that would have made more sense and been worthwhile. Instead it was a pointless exercise in PR to show congress to be tough on this issue, though one wonders why they werent so tough before the event, passing regulation and more importantly ensuring that regulation was applied.

And its Henry Waxman youre thinking of Lucy - he would be aka "Porky Pig", except he's Jewish I expect and it wouldnt go down well.

I agree with you on everything except the "freak accident" part. From what information has come out so far, this was a completely preventable accident, and BP should be held accountable. I just prefer that all time and energy be focused on solving the problem at hand, rather than answering to our elected twits and the 24 hr news pundits.

Could not agree more.  I caught some of the hearings and the senate hearing with the Goldman Sachs tools.  What I am wondering, all this time they spend in righteous indignation and what becomes of it?  Nothing. Business as usual.  It's not like there are going to be any criminal charges brought.  It amounts to nothing more than political grandstanding in my opinion.
