Now I know as a Canadian who hates South Carolina and all southerners Alvin Green would be a great candidate.  Have you actually listened to any of Mr. Green's interviews regarding his views on the issues that face the United States or South Carolina?

All the clip said is: "He isn't DeMint".

I was already impressed when they got this guy the Democratic nomination, but getting pundits to endorse this guy is beyond pro.

Why?

DeMint is a prohibitive favorite.  Greene is a complete unknown, but who the hell has heard of Vic Rawl?  Rawl spent no effort or money towards the primary - why is he entitled to a victory?  Who cares if it's him or Greene that gets clobbered by DeMint in the general?

DeMint stands to gain nothing by planting a stalking horse - he should win either way.  He stands to lose a LOT if he did that and it came to light.

Firm, do you not find it odd that he has to have a public defender, yet has the cash for the filing fee ? I dont see how wondering about that is condescending, or why you had to bring his colour into it.

Because I saw the liberal condescension, and thought it was germane to the discussion.

Not only that Green is black, but that most of the voters for him were black.

The liberal assumptions seem to be that Green is a puppet, and the people who voted for him are idiots, since they didn't vote "the right way".

That is always the liberal view, and the current "white man's burden" that liberals seem to have as part of the political water they swim in.

I've never seen you disagree with O59 (lucy or DK, either) when he makes race baiting claims.

I have no opinion on he's requesting a public defender.  I don't know enough about him to make a judgment.
