So the guy gets in a round of golf on a Saturday afternoon...The horror!!!

LIkewise the horror of the guy watching a Saturday afternoon boat race!!!

However, the guy getting in a round of golf on the same afternoon as the guy watching a boat race has no justification to chastize the latter for taking some time off....The hypocrisy!!!

Yeah, I didn't know he was supposed to be working 24 hours of every day.

Freaking GOPetards.

Likewise the BP CEO.

Freaking Obamabots.

Drudge Report Headline:

BP Exec Goes Sailing: Obama Goes Golfing

The stories:

Gulf residents outraged by BP CEO's yacht outing

Obama hits golf course with Biden on another hot, humid weekend

Pretty frigging funny, in a sad way.

Firm

And the ODs sufferers continue their 'Obama does something commonplace' freak out. Let me know when President Obama accumulates more than 2 years on vaction while serving as POTUS.

And the Obamanation afflicted continue their 'Obama can do no wrong' obfuscation. Let me know when Obama actually does something to towards slowing/stopping the oil leak and containing/cleaning-up the oil spill.

Maybe this bullshit would be more credible if you both had complained about Bush's extraordinary amount of vacation time while he was in office.

If you had stayed on topic you wouldn't look like such a jerk.

It didn't strike me as a bad point: Bush was running off to his ranch and sulking for a week an awful lot during his term in office.

If you were an American how it struck you and your opinion of Bush did might matter to me.

If you don't want foreigners making disparaging comments about whatever wanker you elect to run your country, you should probably stop them intefering in global realpolitik. Just a thought.

You should recall that a couple hundred years ago my country kicked your country back where it came from then subsequently interfered in global real politic to save your country's ass not once but twice.

Well, if turning up late for two world wars and putting far less effort into either than anybody else did counts, I suppose. If any one country deserves any credit for saving Europe from Hitler it wasn't you lot, it was the Russians, sorry.

Can you suggest an American intervention since the '50s that has done anybody, or even your own country, any good? The middle eastern stuff in particular has been very badly handled.

Really?

So in a thread titled Bush Redux it is off-topic to mention Bush?

Good to know Jimbo, always glad to have you keeping me on track.

Youre right...we should just have leveled the ME in the 50s.

It'd have probably done you a lot more good run in the long run than deposing Mossadeq and putting the Shah back in power did, true enough. (And that's without even mentioning the way all of the Arab countries except Dubai and Qatar see you as Israel's bitch...)
