"Speaking to conservative supporters in his home state, Kyl alleged that President Obama told him in a private meeting that if his administration takes steps to "secure the border," then lawmakers in Washington "won't have any reason to support comprehensive immigration reform." The GOP Senator went on to criticize the approach to border control by blasting, "They are holding it hostage.""

Dearie me. There isn't really a better issue he could have picked to kick off over than that one, is there? It's one of the Repukes' biggest maggots, unless the have a laissez faire pretend Texan in office whose quite happy for businessmen in his State and California to cut their overheads by employing illegals, whereupon they all shut up about it.

they also sneak in unrelated line items, and don't read what they sign.

Once again- I doubt it is a R or D exclusive issue.

Of course it isn't. Doesn't stop the Republicans presenting themselves as the only party that's against this sort of thing, though.
