Status: offline 		I wish this site offered the option of blocking private messages. I just recently had to re-submit an addendum to my profile. I am happily owned and checked the box that said "friends only".

That didn't work. Not many people take time to look at that. I am on this site because I enjoy the forums, not because I want a couple of dozen messages per day from some dominant who wants to "own me". I really am still trying to learn my way around here.

As I said, I joined to post on the forums and I also enjoy making new friends (of any orientation to chat with). But now I find I have to put something more in my profile. I'm still trying to figure out how to work the profile thing other than just checking off the boxes they provide. I hope that what I tried to make into a more specific profile doesn't just show up as a load of messed up html, though.

Just one final question? Why can't some people be bothered to read the basic check off boxes? I checked "friends only". That would include friends of any orientation except dominants who still feel compelled to send me private messages asking me how I can serve them?

LMAO. That might work! But that would also discourage subs and other females that I enjoy chatting with. I'm damned if I do and damned if I don't it seems.

I  just hope that the addendum I made to my profile doesn't look like horribly mangled html (as I said earlier). Actually, I've gotten some private mails from both female and male dominants that I thouroughly enjoyed. All of them took time to read I want friends only. I hate to just block everyone when a lot of people are very interesting. I have a headache. .LMAO.

I do enjoy chatting with people from all sorts or perspective. What I can't understand is the number of male dominants who can't seem to find that little box that I checked that says that I'm looking for "friends only".

Maybe I'm naive even at my advanced age.

The occassional " Its good to see a real woman, let me show you what *real* domination is" one lol..... maybe it's because I'm from Australia...too far away...so maybe change your country of origin then....wont stop people from chatting with you...make it somewhere amazingly remote..exotic even ...but far enough away that most people wont bother with you *grin*...

Seriously though, I hardly ever get unwanted emails, so there must be something in how I have set my profile up that is working. Check it out.

Good advice, as usual. I read your posts and you are always very articulate. I'm still waiting for the CM mods to approve my amended profile. Still don't know how it's going to look though. I suspect I really did mangle what I wanted to say with a lot of screwed up html :)

Nope. You never aadvised me to lie. I am just a bit frustrated that some people can't accept the fact that some of us only join to participate in the forums.

As I said, I always enjoy your posts and posts of many others who actually read my old profile. The new profile is still pending. But even so, I'm always open to new friends no matter how they identify...as long as they can accept that I'm owned and only love to chat that is :)

Yay! It  passed the test! And the html isn't as mangled as I feared it might be :)

Status: offline 		Well how about being a Dominant Woman seeking SLAVE men... what amazes me is all the male doms who contact me via my profile.  There have been some that just see the photo, like it, obviously didn't read the profile, some that claim they want to switch or try subbing (I did say I want slaves, didn't I?) and others who claim they just want to be friends and chat then when it is apparent things aren't going their way ie I am not interested in switching,  fade off into the sunset.  There is even a further class that try to strike up a conversation by such lines as 'at least we appear to have the same hard limits'!  There is a kind of arrogance in certain male doms who think that even Dominant women are fair game with such reassuring lines as 'dont listen to the rest honey, I know what I am doing and I will treat you well you will be my special girl'!!  I never get dominant women bi or lesbian making the same mistake and neither do I get bi or lesbian subs/slaves so wassup with these guys??? I also recently politely sharpened my profile to help reduce this unwanted traffic ...

I keep getting messages from guys asking to serve me, too, and all sorts of other things I've openly said in my profile I do not want.

Although my favorite is this guy I know who is an asshole, and I tell him this constantly, found this girl on here he thought was cute but was a lesbian and messaged her and said she had no right to post pictures of herself where males were present unless she was willing to go both ways.  AND he was being dead serious.  I felt so bad for the girl....

Status: offline 		Unfortunately, the majority of the people on the internet cannot read well and have poor reading comprehension. This is because the majority of people overall have poor reading ability. This is shown test after test, poll after poll. Just over half of people who have *graduated from college with at least a bachelors* can tell you accurately what a newspaper editorial was talking about. People who have some considerable amount of post-secondary education as a whole can barely understand the English a grade school graduate should have mastered.

That being said, you also have to consider that most of the people who *can* read are intellectually lazy. Think of all the people have you encountered who strayed away from "difficult" topics to avoid the mental effort.

So even assuming everyone is educated, half of them simply have no real understanding of what was written in your profile. Most of the other half is too mentally sluggish to understand what foolishness they are undertaking.

Take solace in science. It confirms with evidence and proof that they (most people out there) are imbeciles.

*meow*

P.S. Some *coughcough* "Doms" think being a pushy prick makes them Dominant. You see, in their wee brains, only a few neurons can fire at once. When they think of the words "dominant" (which is awfully long and has terribly many syllables), they think of being an asshole. It's unfortunately the most complex motivation their mind can muster in a go. Remember, science is the asnwer! ;)

Or as others have advised, adjust your age of bulk folder settings.
