I can't decide if there's a fine line or a huge difference in "confidence" and "cockiness". I need to think about that one for awhile longer. However, I love confidence. I hate cockiness. If someone has to constantly inform and remind others of their own greatness, whatever it may be, in an obnoxious manner, then they most likely have severe insecurity problems. That's a turn-off. A man with a quiet assurance, who is secure in his own value and worth as a person and to society without having to wave his hands and announce it to the world, well, he's a real turn-on for me. Because that tells me that he thinks I'm intelligent enough to see it for myself, and that's a compliment. And sincere compliments are always a turn-on.
