Hello all. What are your thoughts on homework slavery? Do you have any idea what it is? Have you ever experienced it? This question is more for us college students :P

LadyHibiscus -> RE: Homework slavery (6/25/2010 5:09:05 PM)

What do you mean? That you do someone ELSE'S homework? That is both CHEATING, and stupid for the person whose work you are doing.

DarkSteven -> RE: Homework slavery (6/25/2010 5:11:05 PM)

Yep.  Read his profile.  He's doing the homework of some 19 yo girl who is an online Domme to him....

LadyHibiscus -> RE: Homework slavery (6/25/2010 5:12:00 PM)

But what about when she has to write exams? See, this is a plan destined for failure. Except for him, I reckon, if he gets to learn new things.

bondmaid123 -> RE: Homework slavery (6/25/2010 5:26:55 PM)

Pretending this is a serious question...

I find this concept incredibly unethical. Never mind the fact that the person actually enrolled in the classes has little to no chance of actually learning the material being presented... there's the whole concept of personal integrity which has just been shattered, and how the hell could somebody choose to serve somebody who can't even manage to do their own ~homework~?

Both parties should be expelled, IMO.

LadyHibiscus -> RE: Homework slavery (6/25/2010 5:28:26 PM)

Speaking as a former teacher, I am right with you, Bondmaid!!

WinsomeDefiance -> RE: Homework slavery (6/25/2010 5:33:53 PM)

In all fairness, after a couple weeks of spending 8-10 hours a night on my college math homework, while working 8-10 hour days, I finally handed it over to my son who did it for me in all of 30 minutes. (not sure if that speaks of how dumb I am, or how smart he is.)  Yes, when I took the final exam I only barely passed it, and it brought my average down to a 3.6 (if I remember correctly) which sucked, but it got me the hellouta that class!  Penance, can sometimes be your friend.  Just saying.

Agreed. And the 19 year old "domme" isn't showing much ethical behaviour. She probably isn't so much a domme as a lazy opportunist who found a patsy to enable her to sail through college.

I'm not going to get all moral on you about cheating. I am going to point one thing out to you. She is paying for an education. She is not getting that education because you are depriving her of the exercise that is designed to help her learn. Really? Can't you do better than being someone's homework bitch who misses that point?

divi -> RE: Homework slavery (6/25/2010 5:42:33 PM)

MissAsylum -> RE: Homework slavery (6/25/2010 5:51:27 PM)

Film project last semester.

EVERYBODY wanted to be the producer(aka- do NOTHING).

i was the writer, camera director, and acted in it and EVERYBODY thought it was ok. i wanted to kill my whole class.

sunshinemiss -> RE: Homework slavery (6/25/2010 5:52:36 PM)

You know... I always know when my students have had someone else do their work... Not to mention that classwork / homework has a purpose - to learn a skill.

Are you really this naive? Do you really think this is "domination"? [8|] <<<<< put on your smart glasses and see the reality, bub.

LadyHibiscus -> RE: Homework slavery (6/25/2010 5:52:40 PM)

I am so glad that there were NO group efforts for either master's degree!! I would have totally gone postal.
