The best trained Armed Forces isn't on the list. Although the Canadain Armed Forces are small and sometimes lacking in equipment, they have proven themselves to be the best in the world time and time again. During the first world war at the battle for Vemy Ridge all other nations failed to take the ridge and Canada's men took it in just a few short hours. The attack was well planned and rehersed and was written about by all the news papers around the world. The New York Times called the Canadain Army the very best in the world, truly amazing and very brave. The German Army always reported higher rates of desertion, whenever Canadains were brought in to releave soldiers from other countries.
During the second world war Canadain Troops proved themselves again and again, often being given the hardest and dirties jobs to do. Just ask the Dutch what they think of the Canadain soldiers. During D day, they were the only country to obtain or exceed all of their objestives and no matter where they were asked to go, they performed above and beyond.
During the Koean war the Canadains proved themselves second to none again. When almost 2000 American troops were trapped and completely surrounded by the Chinese, the top bress in America were ready to write them off. A canadain navel officer took an under guned Canadain destroyer right up a narrow well defended river, held off the enemy long enough to get all the US troops on board and then back the ship all they out of the river.
I think the Canadain Armed Forces should be on this list and then I could vote.
