I'm a democrat!  We rock because we actually care about what's best for everyone!

They certainly talk a good game, Darli.

...and performed a whole lot better too

If you're a Democrat you can go through life "offended" by just about everything.
Ever notice that, so many of them are "offended" all the time.

Oh yea I have noticed. Offended that people can go to work 40-50 hrs a week, bust their ass and can pay up to 35% tax while investors can buy a stock or real etate, sleep in, hit the golf course and on their 'gains' pay 15%...ya know, for all of the 'risk' [sic] they took.

I am deeply offended that the great capitalist poor can go ahead and fail but the great socialist rich...are just too big to fail.

I am offended how we are supposed to lower the fiscal responsibilities of the capitalist to create jobs when their of total federal receipts have been cut by more than 1/2 over 50 years and corporate America hasn't added one new net job in 60 years.

I am offended that activists conservative (capitalist) judges have made law by declaring property as speech, so not only can someone have more free speech in the bank than you then bestows upon the corporation all of those $Billion in free speech that it can be spent on the candidate of their choice...to collect more free speech in the bank.

I am offended alright at the republicans genuflecting at the alter of profits while not giving a damn about society...oh that is until  democrat is elected to the white house. All of a sudden now they care. [sic]

Cheating on your spouse is immoral... to your spouse. It has nothing to do with the public.

Putting your own fidelity to your spouse in the spot light, then cheating on your spouse, now makes it a public issue.

Persecuting a man for getting a blow job who never put his fidelity in the spot light, then having it revealed you were cheating on your own spouse while she had cancer.... idiotic.

I could, on a personal level, care less about whether or not someone cheated on their spouse.  It's not my relationship.  When it came to Clinton, it was the fact that he LIED...and then LIED under oath.  That does not bode well in my opinion.  -Shrugs.-

We cared about Clinton's lies and then the right didn't give a shit about Bush's lies and are now all after Obama's 'lies.'

-Blinks a few times.-  I love when you guys do this.  Bush was a flaming moron!  We all knew that!  We all can agree on that!  But this isn't about Bush or the republicans.  This is a thread about democrats.  Just because Bush did it, it doesn't excuse Clinton for lying.  One idiotic move does NOT excuse another.

From the nice democrats I've met, and I've met quite a few.

They're very strong-willed and dedicated in saving the world in whatever capacity they can.

Even if I disagree with them, I can still respect them for having a difference of opinion.

Clinton lied about getting his cock sucked. Bush lied in order to stage an occupation of a foreign nation so that Haliburton could gain control of their oil fields.
Maybe it's just me, but it looks like there's a slight difference in magnitude there...

It's not just you.  I know there's a huge different between adultery and pushing the country into unrest.  The point, which I feel has been lost, is that this thread is about democrats, and whenever someone brings up something that they feel is wrong about the party, they immediately get a response of, "Well they did it too!"  It's childish and idiotic and I'm sick and tired of it.  TWO wrongs don't make a right.  Never, ever, ever.  I don't understand what's so hard about this concept.  Just because the democrats were stupid enough to lie, it doesn't mean that it's okay for the republicans to do it too.  Just because the democrats are okay with adultery doesn't mean it's okay to enjoy sexual pleasure with your mistress thousands of miles away and take part in adultery.  It doesn't make it right and it pretty much pisses off the American people.

When you lie, you lose credibility.  You lose respect.  You diminish the office you hold.  That's what Clinton did.  That's why I have a problem with.  "Bush did it too" is a cop out for what Clinton did do.

Do you honestly think that the presidency could be any more diminished since Nixon was chased out of office and Ford took over and immediately pardoned him? Never mind lying, Obama would have to cave in a Thai ladybody's head with a lead pipe on camera instead of paying her to make the Presidency look any worse.

I think it still holds a lot of greatness.  I think that the American people can still make it even better.  I would even LOVE to see Obama make it great.  I would LOVE to see him make this a great country.

So would I, but I get the impression that most of the Republican party would rather have their mother's corpses dug up and raped by necrophilliacs than allow that to happen. Hence all of this namecalling over stuff their own party did with even more gusto.

I think it comes from both sides, honestly.  It doesn't matter who it is and whether or not they do good for the country.  If it's someone of the opposite party, they name call and cause a scene.
