FR That is nothing. A quarter million people die each year because of mistakes made in hospitals. And that is from the AMA estimate, who knows how many are left out of that because the fox guards the henhouse. The weekend it was dark, late at night and I tripped and fell backwards on a tree stump yielding a nasty bruise and some pain. My people have offered me everything up to and including oxycotin (not codone). I don't want any of it, even for free. I'd rather have a beer. People don't get it, this is a drug oriented society, and my Mother said so twenty years ago. I agree. You put "just say no to drugs" ads on TV and then before and after there are drug ads. And these are not for cancer and shit, they are for depression or a headache. My family discovered years ago that headaches go away on their own usually. If they are induced by high BP or negative sinus pressure whatever, fix the damn problem, not the symptom. If you are depressed because you can't play the violin, try the guitar. If you are depressed because you can't walk find a way to become mobile somehow. The problem is partly the drug companies, but the people are what makes the scam work. As long as people think the answer to all of life's problems are at the pharmacy the scam will go on. If we stop, they stop. They will have no choice. Why do drugs cost so much more here in the US ? Because of a simple law of economics. I'm sure you have heard of supply, but in this case the eminent factor is DEMAND. Now how hard was that to figure out ? T
