Really the only way to avoid this stuff is to base your diet not on processed foods in the middle of the grocery, but the whole foods around the outside....No, they are no where near as convenient as the packaged foods in the middle, but they are better for you in the long run....Yes, they are more expensive, but health is worth it, most of the time.....I'm trying to get a garden going in my yard to reduce the cost of my produce, but that's hard work....but I'm hoping for some pay off.....

What are you, some kind of monster? Hehheh, just a little Metallica joke there. I agree with the usage of the outer isles in stores, very good advice.

Holly, thanks for the OP, good info!

those are good places to start in figuring out the crap that the "food" industry are allowed to sell us.....I read the other day the McD's chicken nuggets share an ingredient with Silly Putty....Makes you wonder....

Did you see Super Size Me?  They had in the special features where they put some McD's french fries under a dome and let them sit and there was never any change, while the real french fries began to decay and rot, it was wierd.  So, I'm not surprised.

Hmm lol.

Anywho, I would also advice folks to watch a movie called "Fathead", which to a degree, is a response to some of the things Spurlock says in Supersize Me. Not is all what it seems, always.

Yeah, that's it.  Dude, what ya got against Morgan Spurloch?  He's fightin' the good fight.

Thanks to all who are reading the OP and (she says hopefully) supporting the fight to have these chemicals banned. [:)]
