That's funny, in this area, "The golf capital of the world" we have I think about 110 golf courses and they generate a few billions of dollars for the area with so many golfers comming here especially in the winter months from all over the country, Canada and Europe.
And what do they do after golf and going out to eat, most of them having not brought their wives? They go to the many "Gentlemen's Clubs" here of course!
It's not the Republicans here that complain about the strip clubs, that involves too much money for this area, you look around in the parking lots of those places and it's all rental cars so you know the place is packed with golfers from all around.
Any time someone complains about the strip clubs here it's usually some church or holy roller group. You wonder why, it's not as though (they) frequent those places,.....right? Probably Democrats, they don't want to see anyone else having fun. Noone's forcing them to go in.
The Golfers bring too much money to this area so the Republicans love and cater to them! "You boys want strip joints, you got 'em!"
And we have sex shops here too. One of them is like a big supermarket and has any kind of dildo you can think of!
And we have "Escort Services" listed in the Yellow Pages here. Lots of them!
The Golfers spend a *LOT* of money in this area and anything that keeps them happy is a "good" thing!
They spend money on golf, hotels and condos, rental cars, restaurants, strip clubs, souvenirs, etc.
One lady that I talked to in a strip club told me that Feb 1st to May 30th is the best time of the year for them because of the Golfers. She said, "we make a TON of money then!" It didn't sound like she was being "exploited!"
Those Republicans in Texas need to get their shit together. There's money to be made in the sex business! Or, convert over to the Democratic party where they can bitch about women being "exploited."
