ORIGINAL: lusciouslips19 Well calling it a pitch fork mentality is not accurate. Thats the flaw to the point. Thats like saying everyone is out to get all new people. This is not the case. There are loads of people who got a wonderful reception. There is also posters that always welcome people in the Introduction thread. This is more like a playground. Lots of activities and groups. Some play nice, some are bullies. Its the nature of life. This is just a microcosm of the outside world we live in. Whether its the kids at school or the people at the office/ I agree with this Lushy. The thing is, many of us didn't enjoy the playground, and I sure as hell don't live my life as if I am at the office. Everyone is not interested in being in "the group", "the playground", the "office", or always going along with what other people think. I have always been "different", and at this stage of the game, I suspect I will be "different" until I die. I don't need or even want to be in "the group", but I have a right to be here, to post, to say what I want to say, and to exist, and I even have the RIGHT to be "DIFFERENT". I think everyone should have those basic rights, and when I see people being ganged up on, teased, mocked or ridiculed by a large group of people, I don't find it amusing and I have never liked it. In my world, people have every right to be "different" as long as they are not dangerous. I may or may not agree with AQSM, but he has the right to voice his opinions. I have a problem with people that feel that we don't have a right to our opinion, OR that our opinion is wrong, because it is not YOUR opinion. THAT is what I got from this op. To each their own.
