If you are talking about taking sides against your bold font, I am doing nothing of the sort. You are welcome to keep doing it, in doing so, there are several people that will PHYSICALLY have a problem reading your font. It is allowable to post in pink also....if memory serves me right, the posters dont care for that either. You can post in bold, you can post and not leave. I dont remember ever asking you to. I simply relayed what quite a few posters had relayed to me. There are a LOT of graphics available on the forums, usually it is not a problem for a poster when they find that their graphics ability(whether it be by bold fonts, pink fonts, or an abundance of animated gifs) is a problem for any on the site. I'm sorry it was a problem for YOU. Feel free to continue if you wish, just be aware there will be numerous posters who will not be able to read your posts simply because of the font you choose to use.

You know what I think is high school... bitching about a place you continue to go to of your own free will. lol For example: My mom always has a stocked kitchen, does my laundry sometimes and pays for the cable in my free of rent bedroom, but damn I can't stand when she makes me take out the trash, speak kindly and obey her rules.. sometimes I just gotta say fuck!

LOL It was just an example! I moved out at sixteen because I knew I just didn't need to be there! Rather than bitch... get on with my life! Laurell, I don't think there is anything you could say that I would find offensive! You know I'm going crazy with curiosity! lol You should have heard where and how my mom wanted to be buried and how the family joked about things the very day she died. I should have been back to this thread earlier. Sorry. I was............ busy.

A couple of things for the record. I have not been told that My color was difficult to read. I have been told by a couple of posters that it is hard to QUOTE. The two people who have mentioned this to Me are not on this thread, so I'm not going to mention them by name. I've gotten far more complaints about the capital "M" thing, but darn near every person who has said that is distracting has managed and in spite of it has found something I've said at one time or another worthwhile.

Just recently, I created a thread where I asked if I was really supposed to take some of this stuff seriously. It really was in reference to a troll but it did lead Me to going back and looking at the guidelines to the general forum. As of an update in Oct 2009, fonts and colors are specifically addressed. It really is different than when I signed up here. Had it been that way when I started posting here three years ago, I might see it differently. As it stands, I don't.

There's something else that I want to say about this particular thread subject. (The real one, not the stuff that has come up since the thread has drifted.)

If you came to these boards to ask a question that you could have found the answer to by reading a copy of SM101, yes you are lazy and don't bitch because you got tagged for not doing your own research. The fact that you couldn't get off of your ass, do a little reading on your own initiative, and came here to ask the most elementary of questions isn't My fault. There are other people on these boards that have far more patience than I do in these matters. I will tell you to do some of your own work and not have all of the answers handed to you on a silver platter. This isn't AA and the newcomer isn't the most important person in the room. If you don't at least yank a bit on your own bootstraps, I'm not going to coddle you and try to explain within the limitations of a message board everything I've learned in over a decade.

It thrills Me to no end to help out folks who want to be involved in BDSM. At the same time, I'm not here to hold someone's hand who isn't willing to do some of this on their own. I'd much rather invest My time on those who are willing to learn, rather than those who want to be spoon fed.

Your font is a little difficult but there used to be a poster who used a lighter pink. But at least yours is a normal size font.

QSM's bold is oversized and I for one am not willing to move back three feet to be able to read it. The lenses implanted in my eyes are set for reading at 20". If someone chooses a font that requires sitting farther back or closer to the computer than that, I frequently just skip them.
