Sanity -> RE: World Cup feels al-Qaida's wrath (7/12/2010 5:00:17 PM)

The Islamic fascists only attacked the World Cup because of the World Cups support for Israel, and because the World Cup is exploiting them for their cheap oil.

We have to go where ever they are and kill every terrorist . The civilized world has to win this war on terror.

There is neither the money or manpower or intelligence for that to happen, EVER, simple, fullstop, end of bloody story, period.
to have that expectation you have to be on some serious happy pills or seriously delusional
Ill be kind and give you the benefit of doubt and go the pill route...

After reading this post...I was thisclose to "quoting" and remarking on the implied simplicity of the poster...when I caught myself and thought..."your late to the party, someone must have dealt with this silliness".....thankyou Lucy for rewarding my faith. And with such style and panache!

I guess that you would sit by and not do anything.

Jeffff -> RE: World Cup feels al-Qaida's wrath (7/12/2010 7:29:02 PM)

I would suggest education.

For thousands of years we have tried to make the world a better place by killing people we disagree with.

What if a common ground could be established?

Is that anymore ridiculous than kill em all?

Of cours not servant...I would sit in my livingroom and sprout silly little platitudes about going whereever they are and killing every terrorist....because I hold, despite being a fully formed adult, silly little misconceptions where absolutes are concerned[:)]

Jeffff -> RE: World Cup feels al-Qaida's wrath (7/12/2010 7:34:03 PM)

I am pretty sure it's his basement.... or more likely his mom's basement.

servantforuse -> RE: World Cup feels al-Qaida's wrath (7/12/2010 7:39:05 PM)

No Jefff, Its my own house, a $300,000 house with a nice pool.By the way, I don't have to work anymore.

Jeffff -> RE: World Cup feels al-Qaida's wrath (7/12/2010 7:41:11 PM)

Ok, that's nice, It hasn't helped your brain much though has it.

slvemike4u -> RE: World Cup feels al-Qaida's wrath (7/12/2010 7:42:28 PM)

Yes...but despite what you have been told you are still responsible to think for yourself.
Letting the loudest voice on your radio do it for you is just making you look juvenile.

Jeffff -> RE: World Cup feels al-Qaida's wrath (7/12/2010 7:44:00 PM)

You are so much nicer than I am..... can you teach me?

servantforuse -> RE: World Cup feels al-Qaida's wrath (7/12/2010 7:47:42 PM)

You guys want to sit in a circle and sing 'coom by ya' and try to figure why they hate everyone who disagrees with them. Countries around the world are fighting al-quaida every minute of every day. Its the only way to defeat them.

Brain -> RE: World Cup feels al-Qaida's wrath (7/12/2010 7:56:42 PM)

The least you can do is pay for it if you want to fight. How about recommending a tax increase to pay for it and balance the budget instead of using other people's Social Security money?

So you felt the need to make another post and come off even sillier.Do you really think the choice comes down to your juvenile kill them all wherever they are ...or singing "coom by ya"(by the way ,I really like the way you angicised that song tittle....lol) with them.
Do you suppose,in your more adult moments" that there just might be a more realistic approach to the issue?

And the World Trade Towers was just two buildings. They targeted two large events, both having to do with the Cup event in order to gain the media attention. The group succeeded. What is really rediculous is that 80+ people have died and you two want to argue over a damn headline.

Don't ya just hate it when someone picks your word choice to pieces instead of commenting on the content provided ? It gets exasperating.[&:]

I'm not picking on anyone in particular, it just happens alot on the P& R forum.

It didn't happen on US soil, it didn't affect US property, and only one US citizen died, and a few got hurt... no biggie according to some.

That attitude is so scary. Shows the arrogance of some that it couldnt happen here again. Didnt we have that arroganc settled once before?

No Biggie ? Who the hell has said that ? Certainly not SL4 or myself. Incidentaly neither of us are American, but hey dont let that fact get in the way of another Anti-US from you.

What I find exasperating is the way many start threads with title that have little to do with the content. This also happens alot on the P & R forum.

The world cup was watched on big screens like that in many venues around the world. They target events where there are large gatherings, nothing specifically to do with the world cup it's just an opportunity. Al-Qaida's wrath doesn't extent to telling people not to watch the world cup, that's the journalists viewpoint and the official statement from the Al-Qaida mouthpiece said nothing of the world cup.

Just wondering why this makes a big difference to you?

Butch
