Status: offline 		This might be a strange question/poll to toss out there, but I was wondering what event people like to use for their anniversaries. For example, was it the first time you met? Or your first date? The first time you kissed, played, had sex? The first time you established your D/s dynamic? Creative option that never occurred to me?

I would definitely like to hear folk's thoughts here.

Status: offline 		Right now, we celebrate our first date together.  We laugh and have little jokes about the movie we saw, the food we ate, the time we spent.  We go back to the same restaurant every year.  Star Thai.  It's owned by friends of my father.

I'm sorry if the original post was confusing, I was asking how you determined your anniversary date, not what you did for your anniversary. But it's nice to hear you guys have established a tradition.

Status: offline 		In my current relationship we use the first day we said "I Love You", coming up in a week actually *grin*. In my prior M/s relationship we used the day he collared me.

We're both awful with dates so we just celebrate and give thanks for being in each other's lives everyday.

Status: offline 		Personally, I celebrate the anniversary of the day we met, and the day he placed his collar on my neck. I get him gifts of things he likes (I keep a mental list) for those occasions. My gift is him. That is all I need.

We had corresponded via cmail and email, spoken and even "dabbled" on the phone a bit, but it was the first time I laid eyes on Him that I knew. (Oh, yeah. Great memory. I knew it was real because when I first saw Him walking towards me, I almost fell to my knees in the restaurant bar. He radiated across the room.)

We also mark, but not officially, the first time He told me He loves me. I think He was more surprised that He fell in love than I was!

That's beautiful! That has always been my MO in prior relationships, but I find myself with someone who wants an anniversary date, but our relationship has been so fluid, it's hard to figure out what that might be.

I think there's still some confusion here. Your anniversary is the anniversary of what? The first time you met? The first time you played? When you were collared?
