You don't know what racism is. One of my biggest peeves about you far left types is the way you're constantly trying to throw the race card out there, and you don't even know what racism is. julia the other day as trying to claim that all Idahoans are racist because her neighbors from California are moving up here to escape Californias high taxes.

Rush talks about race, and race relations, and thats hysterically misinterpreted as racist by you folks. Merely talking about someone of color (Obama) is hyped as racist if it isn't glowing praise. WTF, he's the president of the United States, every president gets talked about, catches heat. Its politics, get over it.

Its like you've lost your minds.

Rush can use cracker all he likes however his comments about Steinbrenner making black men millionaires while firing lots of white guys is racist.

Rush is still pissy about being denied access to a sports team.

It is funny. There is nothing malicious here. Talking about firing "white" millionaires can hardly be viewed as something overly derogatory.

I didn't say there was anything derogatory. I just said it was true. Rush's phrasing is what rouses the racist rabble, just as yours does on the flip side. At least according to some here, given that mentioning race seems to equate to racism.

And if you don't think he made her sign a prenup you're even dumber than I thought.

What does that mean Sanity?

Do you think a prenup in which she would receive nothing would hold up in court?

If I were her I would tolerate his fat ass for a year or two in exchange for a few million.

No, he was making a crack at the New Black Panthers.

You know, Obamas pals. The same people who his political people at the DOJ  let off the hook for the well documented voter intimidation case in Philly.

The DOJ declined to prosecute on Jan 7, 2009 before Obama or Holder were in office. Drat, those inconvenient facts.

Don't forget his favorite past time of accusing everyone of not being able to hold a conversation and name calling.

Funny how there is page after page of dear old Sanity doing those exact things.

That`s the entertanment part. How long can the sanitizer go without personally insulting a board memeber, while pissy fitting when someone does the same?"Oh the outrage, how dare you".

Owner59: i've noticed that for awhile now. everything is "left-wing" "you stupid liberals". its just amazing. verbal pre-emtive strikes make you look stoopid. flcouple2009: i was thinking,"ok...am i missing something here?" when nobody had said anything that was a low blow, but he took the liberty of calling everybody a liberal and that we all resort to personal attacks because we are too stupid do anything else. its hilarious in a very sad way.

flcouple2009 -> RE: While We`re On The Subject,Is This A Racist Comment? (7/14/2010 9:24:04 AM)

It is great entertainment and sometimes I must confess to fighting an urge to say something to kick start that behavior out of him.

There is a part of me that feels sorry for him.  There is something obviously missing or wrong in his life that he needs to come here to act out.

Sanity -> RE: While We`re On The Subject,Is This A Racist Comment? (7/14/2010 10:07:01 AM)

I never wrote that you're black, and the Black Panther thing is in reference to the Obama administrations giving them a wink and a nod over their voter intimation schtick in Philly, it had nothing to do with you. The reason I say you're clearly very far to the left had to do with your inventing that unflattering  interview with Rush Limbaugh, thereby aligning yourself with the miscreants here who can't argue a point without resorting to lies and vicious (but poorly thought out) character attacks like that.

In other words if it walks like a duck and talk like a duck, its probably a duck.

Declined to prosecute? Are we discussing the same case?

Heres the story of what happened:

quote:

President Obama's Justice Department continues to stonewall inquiries about why it dropped a voter intimidation case against the New Black Panther Party.

The episode—which Bartle Bull, a former civil rights lawyer and publisher of the left-wing Village Voice, calls "the most blatant form of voter intimidation I've ever seen"—began on Election Day 2008. Mr. Bull and others witnessed two Black Panthers in paramilitary garb at a polling place near downtown Philadelphia. (Some of this behavior is on YouTube.)

One of them, they say, brandished a nightstick at the entrance and pointed it at voters and both made racial threats. Mr. Bull says he heard one yell "You are about to be ruled by the black man, cracker!" In the first week of January, the Justice Department filed a civil lawsuit against the New Black Panther Party and three of its members, saying they violated the 1965 Voting Rights Act by scaring voters with the weapon, uniforms and racial slurs. In March, Mr. Bull submitted an affidavit at Justice's request to support its lawsuit.

When none of the defendants filed any response to the complaint or appeared in federal district court in Philadelphia to answer the suit, it appeared almost certain Justice would have prevailed by default. Instead, the department in May suddenly allowed the party and two of the three defendants to walk away. Against the third defendant, Minister King Samir Shabazz, it sought only an injunction barring him from displaying a weapon within 100 feet of a Philadelphia polling place for the next three years—action that's already illegal under existing law.

There was outrage over the decision among Congressional Republicans, the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights, and in the Justice Department's Civil Rights Division—especially after it was learned one of the defendants who walked was Jerry Jackson, a member of Philadelphia's 14th Ward Democratic Committee and a credentialed poll watcher for the Democratic Party last Election Day.

Not bothering with your stipid fixations with racial hate is not stonewalling.

We know you and the other cons are trying to race bait. You just make it more obvious.[:D]

Get this through your head, the Bush DoJ did not bring criminal charges against those guys because they did nothing illegal. They filed a civil suit against them but with no actual damages even claimed. A decent attorney could have gotten the entire thing tossed.

They declined to pursue criminal charges in 2009. The Obama DOJ dropped civil charges, after a default judgment was rendered, in April.
