PlayfulOne -> RE: No Whips, No Chains, No Pain... (4/17/2006 10:06:12 AM)

He was being ridiculed because he was offered by some what was probably a serious answer in a joking manner?  Having been dragged through many a church setting in my younger days I think they had valid answers.  I don't think those answers had anything to do with how many times he has posted.

Ranting on someone for humor is rich coming from people who have hijacked threads by tossing apples around them

i didn't say he was being ridiculed.  i pointed out that he seemed to be hoping for some serious advice (hence his post beginning with stating he had a serious question), and was met with jokes.  He wasn't ridiculed that i saw.  You must have misunderstood my post.

i only mentioned how many times he posted, because someone else did, and it made me realize the OP may be fairly new to the boards.  We have seen many a post in here, reflecting a concern that people should go easy on newcomers because we tend to scare them off.  Perhaps you don't share the same concern, which is, of course, your option.

Now, you have attempted to include a personal jab in your reply to me, which, the way it was framed is at best a bit passive aggressive.  Having just read page after page of you joking with others on the boards, i am a bit surprised that a little Granny Smith action disturbs you so.  However, i invite you to email me personally if you have an issue you would like to resolve. Otherwise, how 'bout i bake you a pie and we call it a day?

PlayfulOne -> RE: No Whips, No Chains, No Pain... (4/17/2006 11:17:50 AM)

Owned,

No one around here is more guilty of not being serious at times than you or I.  (except maybe one who we will leave nameless, "grins")

I asked about him being ridiculed because you agreed with another who was being bitchy in the thread.  I stil thibnk some of his answers were serious,  just not maybe presented in a serious manner.

Apology for being short with you

Now you have ice cream to go with that pie, :)  ?

[Maybe having only posted 3 times, he does not warrant acceptance enough to be taken seriously.

Are suggesting that the orginal poster only posted 3 times?  When in fact he has posted over 120 times from the count...

The Female that made the Religious Cult shot has only posted 3 times as of the post...

Maybe you just restate what actually trying to say so it can be clearly understood.

Proprietrix

I took that negative statement as tongue in cheek and got a good laugh.

The more I hear people in this lifestyle proclaim how tolerant they are the less
tolerant I find them. Their talk is way out of phase with their walk.

Hey, a serious question here:

I'm interested in the lifestyle of BDSM, yet not into whips, chains, inflicting pain, dungeons, goth, or any of that. My interests lie more in an intensified 1950s style..... me, taking care of a sub/slave woman, allowing her the resources so that she may obey and please me, but loving and taking care of her as one would a pet...

Total obedience on her part, but more about cooking/cleaning, dressing up, etc -- without the other stuff.

My question is: Am I in the right place?

Pull up a chair and sit a spell. If you like it here, then you're in the right place. :)

Maybe you could actually reflect where it was noted the amount the OP posted?  I sure didn't see anything of that regard....

BitaTruble -> RE: No Whips, No Chains, No Pain... (4/17/2006 11:56:52 AM)

I agree with the poster who said the 'taken in hand' site might be a good option for you. That doesn't mean that you have to leave collarme, just that you might get something out of that site as well. Like I said, the main criteria of whether or not this is the right place is if you like it here. Personally, I'd like having you here because it's one more brain in the mix and I like braaaaaaaains. ;) Each one offers such a different perspective so greedy knowledge wench that I am, I hope you decide you like it here.

My jokes are almost always serious somehow..... unless I spot a great opening and just can't help myself.

Female/Male supremacy is a fucking joke.

It may be a joke to you but it isn't to others Thus you go your way and we'll go our way and hopefully never the twain will meet

A service slave? I'm aquainted with a few girls who are not into the SM at all, but LIVE for service. Though I'm a masochist myself, there is one Dominant male-friend that I have provided strictly 'household' service for in the past on serveral occassions. . . no SM, no sex, not even D/s . . . good ol' things like cleaning, cooking, laundry, and even rearranging his livingroom for him . . . and I enjoyed that service immensely.
So yes, I believe you're in the 'right place' and good luck!

Respectfully,
enthralled

Sounds like you need to join up one of those sick patriarchal religious cults.  They do some 24-7 D/s if ever it was done.  Plus they go to heaven when they die, unlike the rest of us godless sinning infidels (who go to heaven now).

Please tell me that the red and white campiagn  ribbon is a reproduction, and not an original.

i can't reflect that because he didn't say that, nor did i say he said that.  He said he had a serious question.  It was you who pointed out he had only posted three times, and that is what drew my attention to the fact that he was new.

i hope that clears it up.

I don't follow the croud that asks all dommes how often they use a strap-on on their subs.

Cause there is some kind of curriculum that all dommes have to follow to participate in this lifestyle.

It's sick.

Scuse Me? and what curriculum would that be? Domming for Dummies? Hmmm I must have missed something in My lessons on life.

MstrFury -> RE: No Whips, No Chains, No Pain... (4/17/2006 3:34:43 PM)

direct answer to your question about being in the right place....in a word...YES..

in expanding on that simple answer...this isn't the only place...
