Hey dude (the gu that started the thread, not every other guy here LOL),

You do your thing.  If it's what floats yer boat, then you just sail the hell on.  Sarcasm around here is as thick as mosquitoes in a swamp in summer, so don't let that phase you none.  Poke around in the forums, and use the serach engine to look up various words you think describes what you are lookin at and/or for.  If I got an answer for you, I'll share it, if I don't, I'll probably joke around a bit, but always inject that I'm just bein a pain in the ass for a laugh or two, hopefully.

Folks around here may or may not have an answer for you, but frequently you can glean just enough info to keep you hunting for more around here.

- Dustyn

Good grief.  Of course it is.

I thought I was being obviously sarcastic in my earlier reply.  I too am guilty of forgetting that sarcasm is completely LOST on the internet.

It was a joke, FWIW.

Cool, but you gotta stick with the LuftWaffe uniforms grey looks so much better. Then again its a matter of taste.

Let's not also forget that there are a lot of weirdos on the web who are not joking [shudder]

Sure you are in the right place.  There's a little bit of everything here... including, sad to say, those who are judgemental and get to feel righteous and superior to everyone who's way of life differs from their own.  Just ignore the nay-sayers (who also tend to be more mouthy and rude than everyone else), and look for your perfect sub!

I'd also like to point out that the name of this site is COLLARme... not beatme, whipme, crossdressme, CBTme. you can do all those things too, but as I see it, it still is basically about Domination and submission in its many, many varied forms which do not necessariliy include beating, whipping... yada yada.

I still don't get the need people have to put down/criticize someone else for wanting a lifestyle they themselves don't necessarily want.  WE don't like it when the vanilla folk judge us for what WE do.... so why do so many in this lifestyle turn on each other, instead of being there and supporting each other?   It's really sad.

Hey, a serious question here:

I'm interested in the lifestyle of BDSM, yet not into whips, chains, inflicting pain, dungeons, goth, or any of that. My interests lie more in an intensified 1950s style..... me, taking care of a sub/slave woman, allowing her the resources so that she may obey and please me, but loving and taking care of her as one would a pet...

Total obedience on her part, but more about cooking/cleaning, dressing up, etc -- without the other stuff.

My question is: Am I in the right place?

There are some around here who prefer hedonism to masochism . . .  just look.

When i was seeking i made it clear that i was not into pain.  And i am not the only one  . . . . am i?  It is something i will give, but not something i require.

Someone directed You to taken in hand . . . also a good influence for recreating and intense version of the fifties relationship.

I am very new to this site but can say without a minute of wondering.......

Yes you are in the right place...  Seems you are seeking a D/s relationship, BDSM is not for everyone.

Enjoy

Not everyone is into the pain and brusies.

Personally i'm more into the mental aspect of things, but love a little hurt thrown in now and then *grins*

There are many that want the old fashion, "The Man is the king of his castle" type of life. My sister lived in that type of relationship for the last 18 years until her husband died. He ran everything, even so far as to buy the kids cloths and groceries. She cooked and baked and took care of the kids and did volunteer work. There are ladies that still want that life. Just need to take the time to fine one

The hardest part of this life is You need to be able to fully support the family. Most households require a dual income to survive.

Good luck
