Status: offline 		To tell the truth, I have never tried to analyze why I liked it. I can say that when he grabs my hair, my knees turn to jelly, my stomach drops, and excitement rips through my body.

Status: offline 		A really strong grip nice and close to my scalp is heaven. 
And then to have my head pulled back so my neck is exposed just adds to the excitement.
I can't think of a better reason to have long hair.
I enjoy it more for the control aspect than the pain.

Status: offline 		Most humans like it- subs like the extra sense of helplessness, the idea that they are being "taken" and that they are desired.

It sets of a lot of "happy chemical" receptors for the brain, one of my fave things to do for others is long slow scratching scalp massaged, which includes some hair pulling.

Very few people like it when you grab just a small chunk og hair, far from the scalp and do a hard yank.  But lots of people like the "close to the nape of the neck, large handful firm pull."

i cannot say why i like it, prolly the animalistic nature of it i suppose.

my favorite is when he has me bent over something and decided to yank me straight up [by my hair] and keep me standing with the grip he has. it exposes my neck, and makes me feel overpowered. the best feeling in the world that is.

Status: offline 		Well, my hair is down to my thighs now... i love having my hair stroked, because for some reason i'm so sensitive i can feel it all over. i like the pain, the pulling, the pleasure, the control, or lack thereof. It makes nice spur-of-the-moment bondage material as well. *grins* Maybe because it's beauty that can be purposeful? i mean, looking nice for my Dom, for His pleasure, is a purpose, of course, but something tangible.

Recently W/we were visiting my family (who does not know about this part of my life) and as W/we sat on the sofa together He put His arm around me, and gripped my hair in His hand, not pulling hard, just holding it enough to remind me that He's there, and i'm His, and i'm safe.

It was possibly one of the most incredible feelings ever!  Very reassuring, and also neat that it was O/our personal signal that no one else in the room would understand.

Status: offline 		lucky agrees with LuckyAlbatross. Hair pulling for pain is not liked simply because lucky does not like (but accepts) pain. However, when used to direct this sub as his Owner wants, sometimes even in public, it creates an intensely submissive feeling.

Status: offline 		I agree with the increased sensation of helplessness, being taken, the kind of pain that hair pulling entails...but I also have one ticklish spot on my body, and that's my ears...so when he decides to grab my hair and nibble on my ears, I'm a gonner ;)

Even though I have short hair, there's enough for Him to get a grip on There are times when He will be gently stroking the back of my head, and then He will grip my hair in His fist and give it a gentle pull.....I get feelings much like Tikkiee described - YUM

Status: offline 		I have to agree with most of the other replies that have been written here.  I love it when Master takes a big handful of my hair and pulls me nice and firmly towards Him or in whatever direction He wants me.  It's a great feeling of helplessness and submissiveness to Him and the power He exerts over me.  It's a great reminder of who is in charge.  It makes me totally weak in the knees, and hot and bothered everywhere else.  A fave for me is sex a la "doggie style" with a hair grab during that forces me to look up at Master.  Oh my...

From a BDSM perspective: i will never forget the first time. My Dom at the time leaned over in the car and looked into my eyes.. he gently made a fist around the hair at the nape of my neck and he pulled. i learned that day that that type of pulling made me lose control. i became aroused like never before.
