Recently W/we were visiting my family (who does not know about this part of my life) and as W/we sat on the sofa together He put His arm around me, and gripped my hair in His hand, not pulling hard, just holding it enough to remind me that He's there, and i'm His, and i'm safe.

Clean and fresh sharp knives work better.  You can't tell on a dull knife when you will hit a pit or a sudden sharper spot.  Know the knife you're working with.

You could always just use a credit card.

All this talk makes me crave being with my girl even more.  I love the look of panic and submission in her eyes and on her face when I grip her by the hair and lead her where I want her.  Now I have an even better idea of how she must be feeling.

Ahhhh =] hair pulling ... well, besides the physical power exchange already discussed, this activity has an added bonus. The pulling causes stretching of the tiny muscles of the skull and into the face, and causes these muscles to relax .. somebody mentioned liking their beard being pulled, and the same thing applies here. It is like a mini-massage .. <grins> and this is a good thing cause a lot of us are stressed .. in the neck, jaw and shoulders .. brought about by time at the computer, jaw clenching, poor posture, etc. Pulling the hair (and also pulling the ears) brings some relief =)

The relaxation is not only to the skull muscles, but the feeling I get is hmmm not unlike that of a kitten being grabbed by the scruff of its neck by its Mom. The whole body relaxes, yet the mind becomes hyper-aware and focused. For to make a wrong move could cause harm .. heheh both for myself *and* for the kitten.

Hair pulling can be done at practically any length .. <grins again> even pubic hair feels nice being pulled. As for my hair, well I have a funny little story. I had been growing it long, because I always wanted to donate it to charity .. being blessed with wonderful hair. It went to my waist .. ~20 inches long, hmm or about 5 hands in horsey terms.

Several weeks ago, my hair was put into braids and about a foot was cut off. I figure that I gave away 3 hands length, and am left with 2 .. so more than enough =) to grab ahold of, and some kid will have wavy auburn hair whilst undergoing chemo.

Gosh! the reactions of some .. sure while most lament what they see as a *loss* there have been a couple who actually chastised me for doing it ... "why did you go and do that for? I love long hair!!" ... heheh when I don't even know these people ...

There's more hair-raising tales .. but have run out of time...

Status: offline 		I know the OP said this was for sub gals but my male sub asked me to post that YES male subs love to have their hair pulled, yanked and grabbed etc. Mine has the most beautiful dark thick naturally wavy hair and I love to reach up and grab a handful and pull him around by it.
He says it makes his knees turn to jelly because he can feel my control coursing over him, particulary when he's down on his knees taking the strapon and I have a hold of his hair with one my hand

I like to have my hair pulled too or held onto, its just a sexy kinda feeling.

Status: offline 		My Master plans to shave my head at my collaring ceremony.  I think what I will miss the most about loosing all my hair, is the feeling I get when he pulls my head back arching my back and baring my throat. Not to mention the fact that I will be the ulgiest bald chick ever, ahh the price of obedience.

There is nothing I love more than to get started into a scene by being forcibly towed around the room by my hair (walking, crawling or kneeling of course).
 
Another nice touch is to begin a discipline session by forcing me into a kneeling, head-down pose and then standing on my hair.
 
Why? because it is raw control and gets my fight/flight chemicals raging.
