Status: offline 		How big were your evergreens when you got them?  In 4 years here mine have grown maybe a foot now

Most of them were the smallest you can buy.   They ran around $5 each.  A few were larger tho.

If i were to do it over again- I would have focused on the blue spruces- and not bought any of the dripping pine.   The blue spruce is a much nicer tree.

I also do alot of watering---

Use last years photos to lure them in, then when they get there, they are your yard slaves!  Then your yard will be beautiful once more!

Status: offline 		I've got a few blue spruces out there.  They grow veeerrry slow.  I'll have to take some photo's of them.  It still amazes me here in the midwest where everything is so beautiful most people don't landscape anything.  They are lucky to have grass.

The way the wind blows...yeah you need lots and lots of landscaping unless you want to be a hermit the entire winter.  I'm not old enough to be a hermit yet.
