The SNCC turned to violence in 64, according to you he left in 67. Thats 3 fucking years, dumbass.
Try again fuckstick. They never turned to violence, or perhaps you could cite what must be very famous stories of the SNCC violent acts. Stokely Carmichael advocated violence as policy, on behalf of blacks, late in 66, but there never were any violent acts perpetrated in the name of the SNCC, which never went that route, and of course Carmichael became more militant and took up with the black panthers. Sherrod went with MLK (a moderate non-violentist (if I can make up that word)) as he was a graduate theologian and minister.
Because some of the folks who were at one time in the SNCC and went on to some years later, say the Chicago 8 and so on did some iffy things some time after the fact, does not follow that an organization whos primary function was to get Unis to shed their holdings in Monsanto and other war-industrialists and end the viet nam war, in any wise make them violent to a man.
So unless you must concede that Philip Markoff, a republican, is a murderer therefore all republicans are murderers, or Larry Craig is a gloryhole republican, therefore all republicans are gloryhole republicans, or both, you must concede that you are an uninformed fuckstick.
