I'm thinking that the Dommes outnumber the male subs to such a degree that only the cream of the crop manages to become Owned. This mystifies me. I find Dommes extremely easy to talk with. Just treat 'em like people. All a sub man has to do is to tell them a joke or two, and listen to them and talk to them. I get the feeling they don't encounter that much.

Then again, since most of the sub men aren't sub men at all, and simply want a kitten with a whip to Top them...

They send mail to sub women because they really don't give a damn about the recipient of the email except as a fantasy fulfillment system. They've likely been turned down by enough Dommes that they figure they might as well broaden their search...

Yeah, that's what I'm thinkin.

I don't think any sub in his right mind, would ask another sub (Female) to domme him. But like someone else said, they are desperate for ANY Female to control them.

Luckily I still have my left mind, and "FEND" for myself, rather then inflict me on any unsuspecting Female sub. Though a few years ago, I had a friend on Collarme (plntlady64 ?), that was like a sub sister to me, but I never asked her to do anything, since she was a sub too. I sure do miss her.

On the plus side, the female sub might find out she is actually a switch. (Or she might feel she is serving the sub).

In response to the OP and the thread as a whole:

1. Is a Dom who gets off on a few submissive responses from a sub he doesn't know not doing the same thing? Domming his fantasies?

2. Recently I was approached by a male sub over 15 years my junior who lives in my area. He turned out to be a 'Master', and started to test me as 'slave'. At the first question I asked, he disappeared. He might think that I 'failed' yet forgets that he a. does not represent himself in an honest way, and b. has just given me great insight about himself.

It usually take it as... they think I'm pretty and would like someone to dominate them who looked like me. Honestly, I doubt their messages have anything to do with the people they are messaging. That's probably tied into their success rate. :P
