LOL@it all. Of course I've been aware of the situation with Immigration. However, President Obama had some ideas on how to deal with it and, honestly, I haven't seen his "ideas" in place. Again, I put a question, thought, idea (whatever anyone wants to call it) and I got ripped ...lol...Amazing. But, I'm fine with calm, rationale discussion. Doubt I'll get it here...grins

My sultry, this place is about three degrees up from our time in yahoo political chat, but that does not mean they aren't rough here... we are dealing with sadists and masochists after all!

Of course it's part of the game plan.
It's also the least of many reasons why the most any illegal should ever be offered is permanent legal resident status, never citizenship.

Southern, let me apologize for thompsonx.  His manners are a bit abrasive at times.  As are the manners of many in Politics and Religion.

Yea which is kinda strange, since he sent me a cmail and claimed he is never rude, obnoxious or childish to anyone who was not that way to him first. I guess he made an exception for the OP.

If you were to invest a moment in the search for the meaning of the word ignorant you would not appear so ignorant so often.

Though the OP was a bit ditsy,it didn`t deserve the sledge hammer blow it got from you.

It was a learning moment that needed more deprogramming and myth-busting and less bashing.

Just because someone repeats rightwing myths doesn`t necessarily mean they are rightwing.Just misinformed, which I think is true for the OP.

Now she`s gonna think lefties are jerks and those nice republicans buying her drinks are the good guys.

Thanx Thompsonx!!!

If thats all it takes to sway ones belief is a drink, then maybe I should open a bar.  Hell, why stop there...maybe a brewery and I'd be ruling the world!!  (or at least the nation)

I looked up the meaning of ignorant and surprisingly it didn't have anything to do with you being rude. Nice try though.

You did not get "ripped"... you got your ignorance pointed out to you.
The cubans who live in the u.s. are hardly liberal or they would still be in cuba. So it would make sense that they would vote conservative not because ronnie raygun let them in but because they are conservative. Even the conservative cubans were not able to keep fla. republicrat in the last election.
You do not seem to understand the demographic of illegals in this country so I pointed out to you that over half of them are here on overstayed visas. Do you think that a visa might imply a desire of the visa holder to return to their home country?
I have not been rude to you and if you want rational discussion I am more than willing to do so. If you want to say ignorant things then I am more than willing to point out your ignorance just as you (or anyone else)should point out mine. So far that has damn few and far between.
