ORIGINAL: SavageFaerie And big, I have heard of the benefits of coffee, I am still a pretty big coffee drinker and usually have a few little cuppas of the real stuff every morning. But I do try and lay off the rest of the day since I have chronic insomnia regardless. Real stuff, as in perked/brewed/expressed, vs instant? Also keep in mind, the darker the brew, the less caffine. When they roast the bean, they're actually roasting out some of the caffine. I think they'd have to actually burn the coffee bean in order to get it completely caffine free...ewwww, therefore, it must go through a different process. I like a strong cup of coffee, but those that want a lighter flavored coffee, with less caffine, might try the dark roast and just add hot water to the end product. At least that way, you're not getting the added chemical processes to remove the caffine. Edited to add: The lighter the chocolate, the less heath benefits it has. A base of 70% cocoa is the preferred. I'm not sure what the highest count of cocoa we have in the US, but I seem to recall that in England they have available a higher % of cocoa in a bar. I also think that the darker the cocoa, the less sweet that it is. ~Big
