Probably just contains new words that Bush made up, well, sorry...ones he thought for "real words in a dictionary"... (like strat-teagh-ary, misunderestimated, etc)...Bushisms and the like...Bubba just has his own style and language. Just glad he's in Texas.

Don't forget "nucular".

Is Bush an "Idiot"?

Why are the republicans panicking, hysterical and running scared about this, they talked that boy up for 8 years, why are they throwing him under the bus?

Well I haven't seen any republicans that really cared about his book, but if I do, I will ask them and get back to you. Personally I think this is a stunt to get the news about his book out there and boost sales. Maybe I will shoot him an email and let him know 59 is doing his part to help.

Good for Bush.  If he can convince thousands of people to buy his book, he's doing better than people thought.  I'm not a big fan of memoirs, so I won't buy it, but I'm sure there are people out there who will read it.

I'm also not surprised that republicans are throwing him under the bus.  The guy wasn't really a republican to begin with, and even if he was, the republicans have lost their spines completely long before he came along.

What happened to the teleprompter obsession?

Maybe that one's just jealousy? Bush would have looked a lot less of a tit if he'd been able to read from a teleprompter, after all.

And what would that say about your PM, who according to you, spent most of his time sucking that tit?

I have nothing good to say about either of Bush's bitches, I'm afraid.

Yeah, we usually see it posted out here in exactly the opposite fashion, I would say maybe 100 to 1.

You mean throwing him under the bus like you just did?

Funny how after he drove the country into the ground all his previous supporters decided he wasn't really a Republican or really a conservative.

Must just be a coincidence.

If 1/2 of America was embarrassed by his own words, of course "Bushisms" are a reason to be concerned....unless he had REALLY GOOD editors....Seriously, Bush embarrassed me every time he opened his mouth. I'm sure the Republicans are concerned about his actual Memoirs......!!

I didn't/don't support him.  There were good things that he did, but that's completely overshadowed by the wrong he did.

They're worried out Dubya's memoirs becauese once you've colored all the pages and played with the cutouts a coupla times, theres nothing left of it.

How does today`s GOP differ from bush other than going farther to the right of bush?

From the book "The Ultimate George W. Bushiisms" by Jacob Weisberg, ISBN-13: 978-1-4165-5058-7

"I think it's really important for this great state of baseball to reach out to people of all walks of life to make sure that the sport is iclusive. The best way to do it is to convince little kids how to--the beauty of playing baseball." -Washinggton, D.C., Feb 13, 2006.

"If this were a dictatorship, it would be a heck of a lot easier, just so long as I'm the dictator." --Washington, D.C. Dec 18, 2000

"You know, when I campaigned here in 2000, I said, I want to be a war president. No president wants to be a war president, but I am one." - Des Moines, Iowa, Dec 26, 2006

"I mean, there was serious international effort to say to Saddam Hussein, you're a threat. And the 9/11 attacks extenuated that threat." --Philadelphia, Dec 12, 2005

"You know, one of the hardest parts of my job is to connect Iraq to the war on terror." --Interview with CBS News, Washington, D.C. Sept 6, 2006

"Iraq is a very important part of securing the homeland, and it's a very important part of helping change the Middle East into a part of the world that will not serve as a threat to the civilized world, to people like--or to the developed world, to people like--in the United States." --Washington, D.C., April 3, 2007 (WTF?)

"Make no mistake about it, I understand how tough it is, sir, I talk to families who die." --Speaking to reporters on facing the challenges of war, Washington, D.C., December 7, 2006

"I'm also not very analytical. You know I don't spend a log of time thinking about myself, about why I do things." --Aboard Air Force One, June 4, 2003

"Suiciders are willing to kill innocent life in order to send the projection that this is an impossible mission." --Washington, D.C. April 3, 2007

"If the Iranians were to have a nuclear weapon, they could proliferate." --Washington, D.C., March 21, 2006

"The only way we can win is to leave before the job is done." --Greely, CO, Nov 4, 2006

"You took an oath to defend our flag and our freedom, and you kept that oath underseas and under fire." --Addressing war veterans, Washington, D.C., Jan 10, 2006. (WTF?)

"That's George Washington, the first president, of course. The interesting thing about him is that I read three-- three or four books about him last year. Isn't that interesting?" --Showing German newspaper reporter Karl Kickmann the Oval Office, Washington, D.C., May 5, 2006

"The question is, who ought to make that decision? The Congress or the commanders? And if you know, my position is clear--I'm a commander guy." --Washington, D.C., May 2, 2007

"I am to be a competitive nation." -- San Jose, CA, April 21, 2006

Oh, you guys will like this one...

"It's important for us to explain to our nation that life is important. It's not only life of babies, but it's life of children living in, you know, the dark dungeons of the Internet." --Arlington Heights, Illinois, Oct 24, 2000

And for our UK folks on here...

"You helped our nation celebrate its bicentennial in 17--1976" --To Quenn Elizabeth, Washington, D.C. May 7, 2007

"Amnesty means that you've got to pay a price for having been here illegally, and this bill does that." --Discussing an immigration reform bill, Washington, D.C. June 26, 2007

"Well, I think if you say you're going to do something and don't do it, that's trustworthiness." --CNN Online Chat, August 30, 2000

"I'm the master of low expectations." --Aboard Air force One, June 4, 2003

"One of the great things about books is sometimes there are some fantastic pictures." --U.S. News & World Report, Jan 3, 2000

"Neither in French nor in English nor in Mexican." --Decling to answer reporters' questions at the Summit of the Americas, Quebec City, Canada, April 21, 2001 (Mexican is a language? Do those guys in Mexico know that?)

And by far the best Bushisms...

"Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we." --Washington, D.C., August 5, 2004

So, this idiot is 'writing' a book about his eight years as President?

Strange that Republicans are getting antsy about this; it was no secret that he was writing a book, and you could estimate the release date.

Some Republicans were taking care not to be seen too close to Bush back around the last elections.  I don't remember McCain wanting him around that much.

Sanity has nailed it once again. The guy's "posts" always turn to shit and he ends up enjoying the shit sandwich.

One thing in the article that always pisses me off when I see it in any type of a print is this........

""Monumentally bad timing" was the reaction of one former Bush aide who learned of the book release date....."

Did the guy have a bag on his head?...Or was he a former Bush aide that no one had ever seen before?

If the person is worth quoting than surely it should be noteworthy to attribute his fucking name to the quote.
