Termyn8or -> RE: Bush Memoir Release Has Republicans Concerned (7/28/2010 9:17:55 PM)

I don't need huffy for this. They are scumbags. They frequently use foul language just like the Reagans. They'll kill as fast as an Arkansas governor we used to know about.

They do whatever they want whenever they want, unless it bothers their "friends". They don't even know what the word friend means. They are like that other family in Texas that told congress to fuck off. They are so rich that the government wanted a listing of all their holdings and they said no, to the US government. This was a long time ago and it was not the Bushes, it was someone else, but they are the same type. Following in the same footsteps.

Don't ask, it was one of those things on page 31A of the local paper that is now out of business. But these are the kind of people. They think nothing of us whatsoever, and that is not partisan. Clinton, Bush, Gore, Reagan, Carter, all of them. It doesn't matter anymore anyway. Want the details about how this came about ? just ask.

Sorry, I should have been more clear. The point is, why would Republicans be worried about "Bushisms" from the past or newly released Bush memoirs when Democrats have the current unpopular Gaffer-In-Chief tripping over his shoelaces and turning everything he touches to shit currently.

mnottertail -> RE: Bush Memoir Release Has Republicans Concerned (7/29/2010 7:26:33 AM)

I don't think Bush malapropisms are the reason that the republicans panicking, hysterical and running scared about this, and why are they throwing him under the bus.  I think it's that the spectre of  Bush=republican coming to the fore is not going to be a settling pastoral image designed to get votes.  I think that miss me yet sign you posted in another thread is going to play heavily in advertisements for democratic candidates.

I don`t think he get`s it.

Everyone gaffs. It would be weird if someone didn`t.

It`s just that bush couldn`t say anything without garbling it or misspeaking outright.

Then there was all the really stupid things he managed to say clearly.

No one will ever think of Obama the way folks remember bush.

What happened to the teleprompter obsession?[:D]

NOT.

Sanity has nailed it once again. The guy's "posts" always turn to shit and he ends up enjoying the shit sandwich.

One thing in the article that always pisses me off when I see it in any type of a print is this........

""Monumentally bad timing" was the reaction of one former Bush aide who learned of the book release date....."

Did the guy have a bag on his head?...Or was he a former Bush aide that no one had ever seen before?

If the person is worth quoting than surely it should be noteworthy to attribute his fucking name to the quote.

Maybe that one's just jealousy? Bush would have looked a lot less of a tit if he'd been able to read from a teleprompter, after all.

Sanity -> RE: Bush Memoir Release Has Republicans Concerned (7/29/2010 7:35:57 AM)

The Dems have nothing to run ON so they're going to rely heavily on the Bush card and the race card.

Smells of desperation.

On the plus side for the Dems, welfare rolls are way up and people on welfare tend to vote for Democrats. At least thats trending in your favor...

They're worried out Dubya's memoirs becauese once you've colored all the pages and played with the cutouts a coupla times, theres nothing left of it.

Moonhead -> RE: Bush Memoir Release Has Republicans Concerned (7/29/2010 7:38:16 AM)

Reminds me of that joke about the fire in the white house library: Bush was very upset about that because he hadn't finished colouring in one of the books that got burned.
