OK lets not forget that Low Taxes and Smaller Government is not NEO CON it is actual old school conservative .

NEOCON was cut taxes and still spend like drunken sailors ( forgive the slight on drunken sailors)

The reason I and many others talk about cutting spending to meet the budget and don't talk about increased taxes is because they have tried the tax increases they have NEVER actually cut spending, they have cut the increases in spending they planned to have and called it a cut, but really cut spending? doesn't happen.

Yep, a good point. I think the year zero for the neocon thing was the publication of Futuyama's The End Of History, which was what, '91? '92? Presumably saint Ronnie of the monster deficit can't be a neocon given that.
The really hilarious thing about your other point is that they then have the nerve to start whining about "tax and spend democrats". Presumably they're the "don't tax and bankrupt republicans"...
