The Tea Party is pushing back against what it sees as a campaign by Obama supporters and the media to grant amnesty to the estimated 11 million illegal immigrants living in the U.S. by highlighting the "horrors" of illegal immigration.

The Tea Party Nation sent an e-mail to about 35,000 members Tuesday morning asking them to post stories in a new forum about illegal immigrants victimizing Americans either by taking their jobs, committing crimes or undermining businesses by providing cheap labor to their competitors.

"The drum beat for Amnesty is here," the e-mail read. "The Obama Regime and the drive-by media are pushing Amnesty with stories about illegals who are just here 'to make a better life' for themselves. The media is ignoring stories of the horrors of illegal immigration."

The group also asks members to share photos or videos of "illegals or their supporters doing outrageous things (like burning the American flag or putting the Mexican flag above ours, or showing racist posters.)"

"We sent this out because there are two sides to this story," Judson Phillips, president of the Tea Party Nation, told FoxNews.com. "Illegal immigration has a huge and horrible cost."

The e-mail comes in the wake of a media firestorm over an internal memo in the Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services that suggested large-scale plans were being considered to provide a so-called non-legislative version of amnesty. The Obama administration has denied supporting any plans for amnesty.

About 160 comments have been posted on the forum, Phillips said, including stories about illegals causing car accidents, raping the wives of Americans and committing murder. Phillips said he's still deliberating on what to do with the stories. But he added that he's certain he wants to use them somehow to counterbalance the stories focusing on the struggle of illegal immigrants."

The numbers just do not add up, there must be something else behind this.  How could 11 million people screw up the jobs of 350 million people, so less than 5% of the population is responsible for all the hell we are in??? 

Seems like there must be more to the story, like tax cuts, US corps moving jobs overseas because of tax cuts, well you know

TEA-BEGGERS or TEA-BAGGERS are:

A misinformed, right-wing corporate media consumer who often fails to understand that BOTH major parties represent a corrupt plutocracy that steals from the middle class by taxing labor and profiting from corporate tax subsidies.

A teabagger also often fails to acknowledge that George W. Bush and his neo-conservative minions perpetrated one of the boldest and most egregious executive power grabs in the history of the United States. Furthermore, teabaggers mistakenly continue to blame a newly elected President Obama for all that ails the United States of America, based on a grossly flawed perception of reality (including latent racial prejudice) and despite the fact the U.S. economy collapsed on the previous administration's watch.

Teabaggers are also known to base their misguided, right-wing-media-inspired beliefs about President Obama on stupid conspiracy theories about totalitarian takeovers, FEMA camps, etc., despite the fact these very same theories have been circulating around on the Internet for years, and were originally ascribed to neo-conservative cabalists at a time when Barack Obama had not even entered national politics. Teabaggers also are known to be particularly paranoid, xenophobic and intolerant, especially with regard to immigrants and anyone who isn't white.

Additionally, teabaggers generally echo stupid myths about entitlement spending (it actually only accounts for about 1% of federal budget spending), have no idea that most poor people in America are not lazy, actually do work and don't want to be on welfare, and have no idea what socialism actually means or that socialist reform in this country is actually what allowed a middle class to flourish and ultimately make the U.S. one of the most prosperous nations in human history.

Furthermore, teabaggers incorrectly equate socialism with Stalinism, think a system that rewards greed (capitalism) is the divine preference (despite Gospel evidence to the contrary), and are shameless champions of a misguided belief in American exceptionalism. Teabaggers also fail to recognize the inherently unpatriotic nature of their failed every-man-for-himself ideology that ultimately vilifies anyone who supports public policy aimed at reaching out to fellow Americans in need. They celebrate an exploitative corporatocracy (holy creator of jobs, blah blah blah) while denigrating the little guy for being "weak."

Interestingly, teabaggers uphold an immoral, morbidly obese, twice divorced, draft-dodging, college dropout and known drug addict as their de facto leader, and are even known to advocate burning books. Of course, teabaggers fail to recognize the blatant hypocrisy within the GOP and tend to oversimplify all political debate and social issues, much like their pseudo-intellectual, fat-@#$% leader.

Finally, incredibly, teabaggers fail to recognize the hysterical double entendre associated with their proudly adopted teabag moniker.

Every village has its idiots, of course, but it's sad when citizens of any nation allow themselves to be whipped into a frenzy en masse by a state-run propaganda machine masquerading as a legitimate, fair, balanced and independent news organization. Teabaggers are right to believe the future of the U.S.A. is in jeopardy, but sadly they have not yet correctly identified the real enemy. Perhaps when teabaggers finally grow up and mature into thinking adults, they will see the right-leaning power establishment for the oppressive and cunning beast that it is.

Teabagger: We don't care that George Bush tripled the deficit and lied us into a war. The new administration only cut taxes for 90% of the population... fascists. Let's go throw some Lipton tea bags into a fountain somewhere.

Please feel free to cut and paste this where the right wing-nuts are pushing their angry agendas. It appears to be driving them nuts.

I'm re-reading this book called Deer Hunting With Jesus, I highly recommend it for anyone who wants to understand why things like this happen.

Yes, but the Tea Party is happy to over look any illegal actions by US Citizens like speeding, jay-walking, and illegal download of movies. Weren't they JUST IN THE NEWS, for displaying racists words and actions? I guess the NAACP, was indeed correct then.

If these tea party idiots, were truely against law breakers, then, they would have to turn in either themselves or others they know, who broke the law. Riding in a vehcile, and your friend is 20 mph over the speed limit....is an accesory to a crime! We do not see this among Tea Party activists. Yes, because the right, presents BOTH sides of the arguement, 'fair and balance' and without opinion? There are a heck of alot of videos on youtube.com, about instances in which Fox News conviently left out vital information to make its case on a subject matter. One such group that does report this crap of Fox News is...Media Matters. A few months ago, some plane was reported on Fox News as having someone on their 'no fly' passenger list the goverment keeps. I actually didn't believe Fox News and looked to other news sources to verify the information. Right there, I did something 95% of conservatives whom are Republican, DON'T DO!


Finally, ever notice, that conservatives seem to be the 'un-cultured', 'uneducated', and 'unwise'? On these boards, those who believe they are non-right or non-liberal (since popeye1250 declares himself conservative when its 'ok', to be one), actually behave in this manner. Their replies, are 90%, shorter then four sentences in length. usually display little real thought process, and can often easily be crushed with sound arguements. Not that being crushed by sound arguements stops them, from going a step further to do it again and again. Like those who say 'Creationism' is correct, and that 'The Theory of Evolution' is 'just a theory or guess'. I equate it to George Orwell's '1984'. The main character, explains to the reader how the dictionary is revised with fewer (not more), words, so that the population becomes dumber, and easier to control. Likewise, limiting news coverage, that promoted the 'party' in a positive manner, and their enemies in a negative manner. (sounds like Fox News, doesnt it?)

I just dont like the direction Republicans are trying to push this country towards. Its ugly, hateful, frightful, and evil. They are 'ok', that Republicans, under the Bush Administration violated people's 4th Amendment rights with the Patriot Act. Or that, funding the Iraq war based on false information was acceptable. But boy, do they rail the President, for posting accurate information as its known at the time! As President Barlett (played by actor Martin Sheen) in the TV series 'The West Wing' put it:

Since, to them, (insane view point I guess), if the country's economy fails, President Obama fails. If President Obama fails, they win. So they do have motivation, to see the country not only come to a grinding halt, but actually start to splinter and tear itself apart. We've seen it with actions to filibuster ANYTHING, including stuff that once, would not have been considered filibustering for (like filling vanacies in the White House for 'higher level' file clerks (not sure of the actual titles). I would not vote a single Republican, whom displays this attitude, in even, the remote sense. That the 'ends', justify the 'means'.

It's the "screetching Leftists" that are making most of the noise on this and luckily there's not a lot of them.
I think a lot of them were "abandoned" by their fathers during childhood or received some type of head injury as youngsters.

President Obama IS giving our country back to us, from the Bush lies and illegitimacy--a man who was never elected, a national mark of shame in our history. Obama is representing the people who voted for him, and everyone else, working for the good of the American people.
You expect society to provide you with benefits, such as, roads, airlines, recourse for transgressions against you, emergency services, schooling, utilities, etc. In return for those benefits you reap from participating in society, you need to realize that your actions, in turn, affect others in society, and that’s why we have government.
Regulations, government benefits, etc. help ensure that the largest possible percentage of people have the least negative impacts on their neighbors, so while it’s not perfect for everybody, it’s a lot more perfect for most people. Your taxes go to fund this, and because everybody benefits from the system, everybody needs to pay them.
Where were the tea parties when the last presidency made terrifying decisions about how they didn’t have to obey the Constitution if they considered something a “threat”, sending troops to fight an unjust war without the proper equipment, spending billions of dollars.
Why do you feel that you’re more American than everybody else, and why do you keep threatening the people who were legally and legitimately elected under the rules of the Constitution?
Get over yourselves people...we're not on the cusp of anything, the sky isn’t falling, no dangerous changes lie ahead. In five years it's all going to be the same crap with rounder cars and worse music.
This is the sole reason that the "liberal, socialist, communist, marxist, (enter scary term of the week here)" democratic party is in control of the House, Senate, White House and soon to be Supreme Court while the republicans control a tv channel.

Status: offline 		Fear is not driving the Tea Party, I would say reality is driving the tea party. The truth is that more Americans have been killed by Illegal aliens than in the entire Iraq war. This includes all the violent crimes as well as drunk driving accidents as well. Americans have a tendency to ignore reality until it happens to someone in your family. Without going into details, my family was victimized as well.

I think most people would agree that we have enough of our own criminals in this country, without importing more, and when you don't screen Immigrants, any one can enter your country. It has been reported that the Latin American gang MS-13 has over 10,000 members in this country. These people are more dangerous than the mafia was because at least with the mafia you know who you were dealing with. If you report a crime, and the defendant turns out to be a member of MS-13 which you didn't realize at the time. Chances are you aren't going to live much longer.

The bottom line is this. Your loved one would still be alive today, if they had simply enforced our Immigration laws.

Status: offline 		well, can you cite reliable sources?  Now you have to have an apples to apples comparison, and I will tell you what I would accept,  starting with the first death in Iraq you can count all civilian and military casualties in Iraq, and starting with that date you can count all deaths intentionally caused by illegal aliens  where legal aliens were the victim, and show us the exceeding number.

(onlookers, you may go on with your day, it ain't gonna happen, absolutely nothing to see here, as per usual).

Status: offline 		I sincerely enjoyed reading SorceressJ's posting on this thread. People will be deluding themselves in falling for what the Tea Baggers are trouting. The track record speaks for itself. The opposing side on the opposite side of the fence is not any better either.

I never thought I'd live to see that day, when a Democratic president would mandate and force citizens to engage in commerce with corperations (insurance companies). This is exactly what the so called new health care reform does. This just extends the reach of the egregious executive power grab further.

The whole illegal immigration business is a mess that has been years in the creation. Both parties and the federal goverment is responsible for the failure. The Tea Baggers need to take just as much responsiblity for this as the left wing does.

Sincerely, anybody who lives down south near or around the borders will tell you there is a lot of terrible things that does not make the news. The Violent crimes being committed are legit, there is in fact many legitimate concerns and bitches coming from people! I have friends in the state of Texas not too far from the border. For years, I have heard stories about how bad it is. This is not some made up crap that people are putting a spin job on purely for political gain.

This is not some mere issue of racism, these issues should not be reduced down to it as being mere racism. If you believe it's a mere issue of racism than you are not fully understanding the larger picture of things.

There are Mexican citizens here in the US, these are not US citizens but rather citizens of another country. While these 11 million people are not fully responsible for the mess we are in, they clearly are not helping matters either. They are not tax payers, they are not registered voters, they are not citizens even. There is a certain amount of money that goes towards supporting them, and businesses are taking advantage of these people at lower labor rates. There are many evils going on. This is some serious business, it's not a mere issue of racism.

Anybody that is running around trying to paint it this out as a mere issue of racism, is on par with the Tea Baggers that are in a state of denial.

Illegal Immigration has been a growing problem, it's only going to get more out of hand and continue to grow. It's a growing problem has been a growing problem, it's growing larger every day. Does it need to increase to say a little under less than 10% of the population for everybody to wake up?

Crime rates have been on the rise and increase in the southern states for awhile now, and it's related to the lack of border security and the drug cartels and etc... Border security is about way more than just illegal Immigration alone.

The left wing is just as guilty in putting spins that down play the issues as much as the Tea Baggers are for trying to up play it! What is sad is that our Media has been failing to cover and report upon things in a responsible manner to inform the public. There should be no need for the Tea Baggers to resort to up playing it. At the same time, it's low ball for it to be down played as Racism by the left wingers.

This is complete bullshit in my not so humble view and thoughts.
