Yep...I met my Husband here. I also met a good handful of people that just didn't click in one way or another (making sure they aren't secretly married helps too.)

I'll add My yes to the others ... have met several people from CM, generally no total deadheads, some very promising at the time, but yet to find that one special subby boy. Just met a couple yesterday in fact and hope to see them again later this week! It's really not that hard, correspond for a bit, then arrange a meet. These good folks drove for 2 hours to get to where we were so people can be quite motivated, especially if they don't live in the most central area. Good luck! Maam Jay aka violet[A]

Yes. I've met around 10 people from here and hope to meet a few more..Some are a little far away but I hope either they or I can make it someday. It's really kinda easy to meet..Finding the "perfect" mate may be slightly harder. :> Who knows...That can be random at times and come when you least expect it.

I have met a few people from here. Usually we talk for a bit through messages or yahoo and wind up at some point deciding to meet somewhere. Usually it is just for a chat or common interest and then see what happens. I have had a couple play friends from here but nothing LTR.

I've met LOADS of people from here. Almost always a positive experience, some not so much. No different than any other venue as far as ratio of good/not so good.

I posted on this thread back in August, post #29, before it was dug up by SirGuy for whatever reason (can't see his post). What I said back then stands; anyone who thinks that real people don't meet on CM is quite mistaken. My previous post contains a link to an 8 page thread I started, asking folks who they have met from CM, with an emphasis on the message boards. The response is pretty self explanatory.

All of these people on the forums that have met other people can't be wrong. It's not some kind of conspiracy where we're all lying just to deceive people into thinking they can meet others here when it's not possible to do. If someone is having trouble meeting people from the site, maybe it has something to do with the methods being used.

I met my partner through this site, and we are now in a very happy, stable, loving, long term relationship which is now coming up to a year that we've been together. It obviously can work, but I fully believe you have to be completely honest about what you're looking for, and knowing what you want if getting to know people online first is what you prefer to do. It sounds pretty basic, but as most on here know, there are, as in 'real' life, too many people online who don't know what honesty is, so you just have to be wary, and fussy, too. [8D]
