Status: offline 		It's about the capacity for higher degree of service, for greater understanding and tolerance of self and others - just the way they are and just they way they're not.

Also, the ability to deal with the seeming unfairness of life without losing one's joy.

Maturity - the ability to be human and feel/deal with things that are going on, and yet continue serving thru times when you don't feel like it.

Also if the dom wishes to offer training in how to be more independent and believe in the finer abilities the sub possesses, to use out there in the world.

Status: offline 		I can only answer for myself. It´s not really growth in my case but learning, shaping.
I´m a submissive by heart and probably always have been, but I had to learn the correct behaviour, etiquette and so on. I also learned to love, trust and respect my Mistress.

To grow as an individual both as a slave and a human being.

To reach for and stretch my knowledge of my inner self. My owners ever seek to reveal the workings of my innermost heart. To help me learn to control and correct those things about myself I cannot. They guide and support through past pain and help me shut the door on those that sting my heart even now.

Ever do I desire to gain ground in my ability to serve, to love, to submit joyfully without hesitation, safely aware that by doing so my capacity for these things is being promoted for my benefit and theirs.

Having no inate experience...then this answer is what appeals to me personally.........Tempting
