Hello all. Although this question is aimed more towards the dominant females, it may be nice to see what opinions submissive males (or females) have. It may have already been talked about so I apologise if it has. I was talking to a friend last night and she mentioned her boy she considered as a true submissive. I would like to know what do other Dominant females consider as a true submissive? For example, could a submissive who has his own opinions and limits be considered a truely submissive person? Or is there a specific act that you believe shows someone to be a true submissive? I have probably not worded the question appropriately but I hope you understand what I mean.

A Sammich to me is a Roast Beef Sandwich covered in gravy. I'm guessing not the same thing?

Why would a submissive not have their own opinions? You say this as though, before the Dominant came along, they were just some mindless drone. Never a thought in their head. I don't expect anyone to always agree with everything. What I do expect is obedience once a decision has been made, even if he has a different opinion. And yes, I'm keeping this short because it has been asked and answered a ridiculous number of times.

While I was never aware that my submission was in competetion against other submissives out there, I will say that my submission is in its truest form as I dont allow outside opinions or labels to sway me off my path. There.....beat THAT all you other submissives! (sticks out tongue saying nah nah nah nah nah) Seriously, be Matthew, and dont try to fit into anyones box.

quit being obtuse, you know he's not talking about a sandwich. It's not nessisary to make comments about sandwiches because you don't like it when submissive is abbreviated to sub. Or you think it's funny to do so. I'll stop making the sammich comments when I started reading threads that I can take seriously. The title of this thread is a complete exercise in redundancy and laziness. I cannot be expected to take such qualities seriously, it's inhumane :-) boi

It's ok Boi Jen, I am a big fan of sandwiches and Subway (Spicy Italian on Italian bread with bbq sauce is my favourite at the moment), so I don't mind the comments. I'm sorry you were offended by the thread title. I'll do better next time I promise. Thanks for the replies. Lady Pact, maybe I didn't put across exacly what I meant. But I understand what you mean. Poise, thank you. Completely agree. There's no worries about me fitting into someone elses box. It just wouldn't happen.

I know I am being redundant with my post, since it's a hijack of it's own, but hijacking threads is now against the rules. FAIR WARNING: What I consider "truly submissive" is not reflective of any particular "trueness". The more accurate phrase would be "here's the places where I care about obedience and the way I want it expressed". It isn't "true" so much as "fits with me". For me, I find folks who are submissive by personality trait to be "truly" submissive. In short, I like the doormats. The whole "otherwise dominant but submits within the relationship" thing is just tissue-thin.... TO ME. I think if you reinterpreted this domme's phrasing to be something like, "My boy's type of submission really fits well with my type of dominance." then you'd be better off in terms of understanding what was said and the answers you're going to get here.

Now I'm really concerned because I consider myself a truly submissive sub, and I happen to also buy sub sandwiches, so if I come across a truly submissive sandwich, and I move to eat that sandwich, who is really truly submissive, will it taste good, and does the submissive factor get further convoluted by the addition of mayonnaise, and would Miracle Whip make it, by default, automatically dominant?

If a submissive has to ask these questions then clearly there's no brain in there to begin with, so problem solved. Common sense, thoughts, opinions, every human being should have these regardless of their sexual orientation. Even my cat has an opinion on everything, he'd be boring as hell if he didn't. He's still a great pet.

You know, I was going to try to come up with some kind of word in the lifestyle that would be derogatory enough to equate the stature of Miracle Whip. I didn't figure that any category deserved that bad of an association.
